There are some strange details about this: The car wasn`t stolen, it was in the same place as the owner put it. The indication so far indicates suggest that it was a time bomb. So the killers must have known that the car would be parked there for a while, or perhaps they knew it usually was parked there beside the road where soldiers regulary passed by. The killers also most probably entered the car to place the bomb. Such a bomb must be placed in the door or something to have maximum effect horisontally.

the car was propelled 12 meters behind the blast spot. The charge must have been installed under it. The effect was not horizontal, the damage was caused due to the large amount of plastic explosives.
