After setting a precedence of subjecting the Christian president of the republic to a national consensus when the speaker of the house and the prime minister are the strongest in their sects, and after providing cover to the miserable gazi kanaan electoral law in 2005, and after the outrageous call on the eve of the 2009 elections to preserve Lebanon’s Arabic heritage; bkerki is now attempting to market the concept of majority rule in a country where everything is still brokered by sects and where the Christians cannot be a majority on their own. What’s the patriarch motif when he pushes saad el-deen to form a majority only government? Did the patriarch stop to think for a second how easy it will be to form new quadruple alliances a few weeks before each elections? Did he stop for a second to envision and examine the Christian’s right in determining their own future if they are secluded from governing for good? Bkerki’s is remaining true to its long series of blunders; I never really expected myself to ask the following questions, but here we go, are the folks running the show in bkerki simply unqualified or are they knowingly contributing to the demise of Christians in Lebanon? |
After a long observation of Bkerki behavior since 1989, till 2009,
It seems the Patrirche Sfeir, is doing his best to **** the Christians Specially the Maronite in Lebanon.
I don't know if his behavior is on purpose, or just the blind hate for Aoun is driving him to this madness.
if we make a quick look the achievment of Bkerki for the past 20 years we see:
1- Standing next to the militia against the Lebanese army, at a time the logic and the common sense implies of the necessity of supporting the existence of the government in such situation.
2- Supporting Taef Agreement which resulted in the lost of the power from the maronite President and shift it to the Prime minister.
3-A syrian occupation for 15 years where the christians were the main target and they took bullets for the past decade, without mentioning, the absence of one single Supporting speech for the resistance from the side of bkerki.
4-The Jabal "Mousala7a" where still only 17% of the Christians come back to their villages.
5- Supporting Hariri in the past three years while he and his Father (Allahhhhhhhh yer7amo) where the main reason for the 50 billion dollar dept, and the main reason the emigration of the Lebanese Youth specially the Christians.
6- Fight the Christian Leader who sacrificed his national image for the sake of protecting the Christians that Mr. Sfeir is afraid about their destiny.
7- .....
And the List goes On.
After a small Analysis of this,
I think Speaking about what Bkerki says and acts is useless and nonsense anymore.
If the head of the Christians is not aware of what he is doing, well I think Christians deserve it, and deserve to be treated by these thugs like this.
