Maybe you didn't, it doesn't mean that others don't... regardless, why place such material in the hands of kids?

Lebanese history books have always been full of cr@p. Just look at the lies they spread about the Turks.

Because the book as a whole is good at teaching the kids the material they need to be taught Besides did you even try to look up the book? You'll get the history book that the GCSE and IB uses for grade 10 and 11 students...

There are so many books out there, no need to pick one with such controversial issue.

...and did you get the one for third grade? Dont forget that IC offers IB and the high school diploma along with the leb and french one... so there really aren't that many textbooks

EDIT: Or eighth grade...

The article says that this is part of the International program at the IC, and not the Lebanese one. These programs do not have to follow the Lebanese curriculum.

It is not OK under Lebanese law to defame a political party by labeling it as terrorist.. that takes precedence over any "International programs".

Hezbollah is not only a political party. It is many things.

From your perspective then, it goes beyond education curriculum. If so, are all book discussing issues related to Hezbollah (that cover issues of terrorism and islamism) banned in Lebanon?

Isn’t it enough that the face of Lebanon is changing a bit by bit because of some groups of people living on its soil do not have the same vision of Lebanon as it has been created for?
What was the vision it was created for? Is it the vision of the ones who created it?
