PS: is Akl necessarily going to ally with M14?
sayed akl used to be with SF before
lately he is itching to be close to14feb
but their lista is more tha full
batroun has only 2 seats LOL
and mou3arada has jebran and one more , the question is who????
nizar is the best option ,but nothing is clear yet.
if akl runs solo or independents he might hurt both parties equally.
as for his size i doubt he can youjayyer 2000 votes, he can get personally ,\bass moush tejyeer.

I don't get how important he is... I mean, aren't there other candidates that might procure the C&R bloc around 2000-3000 votes to balance those of Akl?

It is if tayyar wants to continue to claim that he respresents 70%+ of christians. :)
If tayyar gets more realistic in his claims, and accept +-50% than it is not.

While in 2005 we got 70% of the Christian vote, we didn't get recognized as the principle representative of the Christian voice. In fact even worse, we were considered as a minority, a second-class party in struggle for survival...

If we get 51% of the Christian voice in 2009 (even worse, as long as we have more MPs and a higher % of votes than LF), I don't see why we wouldn't act as if we were the ONLY representatives of ALL the Christians! We would still not be acting worse than the M14 clan has!

Better from running in Batroun

Why would I or anyone vote for him in Batroun ? just because he is G Saadé son ? i don't think he would stand a chance.

When will the candidates "Fils de ..." have to prove themselves before running ?

I mean, in 2050 we will have the grandsons of Sayyed Akl, Georges Daou, Boutros Harb, Georges Saadé, and GMA running ??? Cmon :)

Long live Héchéch. LMAO
