Since I believe that the US administration did the September 11 thing itself to have the green light to the Middle East, indeed, I may also think that Syria did its bomb itself to have the green light to lebanon. Unfortunately, as some said that Saddam gave the US excuses, well we can also say that the barbarians living in the North gave Syria excuses.

The arab forces will be strictly Sunni (non-syrian)…the contingent force will be composed of Egyptian-Saudi-Jordanian…the moderate Democratic Sunni Arab….Hariri can not fully rule the country without direct military intervention by an ally…North Lebanon is a golden key for such scenario…Bindar is working in this plan day and night

if we can seriously prove or expose this then all our problems will be solved.

but we can't now can we ? it could be syria, israel, the ksa or santa clause since our intelligence agencies are useless in exposing this.

my bet is that it's ksa mainly behind this with a variation of other secondary players behind it sometimes for their own ends and purposes.

but that's not my real problem, my real problem is with some lebanese who encourage those movements in one way or the other and here comes into play the esteemed secterian FM party of Saad Harriri with all its petrodollars and hate speechs.

Hariri replied to Assad. Don't you realize how Assad is "mistakhri" lal hariri? also did you realize how hariri directed his words especially to france? Hariri and his puppets - who are Saudi puppets - are scared that their game has been exposed? they are trying their best to stick it to the Syrians to cover up for their mess. Also Syrians have been turning up the heat on the saudis and wahhabi for supporting wahhabi?

It’s always possible, there are many concurrent plans at play here by many parties.
This isn’t checkers, this is networked chess with geniuses and maniacs playing.

Our responsibility in that respect is towards our own destructive actions and not the intentions of others.

Harriri abused the north for internal personal lebanese reasons, that’s the gist of the matter that is now allowing everybody on the outside to abuse the north even more for their own external political reasons.

I'm sorry if what I'll is redundant since I won't read 6 pages, with all due respect to my fellow forumers...

However, there is something really fishy going on... First we have the Syrians deploying their army on Lebanon's border, second we have an explosion in Damascus (who Syria already accused the bombers to have come from Tripoli), third we have today's explosion in Tripoli. Is Syria back to playing the "maniac pyrotechnician/firefighter" again? There are many variables that need to be taken into consideration as well: the festering of AlQaeda inspired terrorists in Tripoli (who went as far as calling Tripoli their new Qandahar), and the rapprochment between Syria and the West the last few months. Where does Abdel Halim Khaddam stand in all of this? Is he instigating the Sunnis to cause problems in Lebanon and Syria? It was his style in the past, what would stop him now? Who is going to stop Syria mimicking Turkey's cross-border attacks against Iraq to control the Kurdish attacks? Syria can and would use the growing number of terrorists in Tripoli as a cover for them to go on the offensive there (and hopefully not as far as they did in Hama and Hums in the early 1980s).

There's something bigger going on and all what most peopl do is sit on their tushies, eat popcorn, and watch the serenade...

Joumblat has said it so well, Hariri was so short sighted in encouraging these extremists. I have said it sooo many time before on this forum, I tried to warn our Sunni brothers here, especially the ones defending extremism that those are like weker dababir and they will not spare anyone, starting by the Sunnis themselves.
Now, not only are they killing our soldiers and our civilians, hope they will not start real terrorism against civilians, but they are also spreading the red carpet to Syria to meddle in our business again.
