You can't say it is a mistake if you don't have the background of the decision. GMA said clearly how he will be doing decisions and I believe he is sticking to it.
PLUS, he mentioned many times that we have to end this segmentations of Jurd, Sahel,....What else you want every village to vote for a candidate?
Alain Aoun replaced Cortbawi because he was ahead in all polls. This is not about how much cortbawi was ahead of Gharios in 2005.....
Running 4 pure-FPMers (if kanj is added) out of 5 (4/5) is too much for baabda....it doens't seem to be a very good idea
daccache should have been taken on the list...
this is not the case in other cazas like Keserwan (1/5) Metn (4/8) Achrafieh (2/5) , Koura (1/3) , zahleh (1/7) and jbeil (2/3)....
and you rely too much on the polls .... more than logic sometimes ...

Though I don't post a lot, I felt I needed to say this long time ago, but here I say it:

1st of all, Does anyone have a single doubt that the person who spent all his life in the military system, studying strategies and became an army general because he was brilliant in what he does, does anyone have a single doubt that this man studied all the possible tactics, strategies, polls... And made the right strategic decision?

2nd, Baabda was since a long time and till now the FPM's stronghold! And if there's a place to start the change from, it would be from there! There we have to fight sectarianism with Ramzi Kanj, there we have to fight stupid famil ties with Naji Garios, there we have to fight the status quo Hikmat Dib, there we have to fight that stupid say "every MP serves his region or district" by proving that an MP works for all the country, and by voting Alain Aoun. How come WE can't accept that we have no candidate from Jerd! This is complete nonsense!

3rd, Does anyone think for a second that GMA is risking loosing 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 MPs in a very critical phase of our history for the sake of family ties or subjective decisions or whatever BS some have said previously?

4th, are you FPMers? Sometimes I doubt. Maybe some love the phenomenon of Aoun, but to be a true FPMer, you have to seize every opportunity to make the change. I know that in some areas some stupid details have to be taken into consideration because we are not as comfortable as in Baabda, but GMA is making sure to take the best choices knowing the limitations he's got, ie, Kesrouan, between the two Farids, we made the most brilliant and honorable choice... And since in Kesrouwan U can't behave as if U're in Baabda, GMA had to pick between the reknown families, the independants that are close to us, so he picked up Farid E. Khazen, knowing that MP Khazen is one of the best MPs in our bloc.

5th and last, what hell of FPMers you are! (Not talking to those who don't feel concerned). You keep on nagging all day long! What for! You should be part of Majlis 3aza and not orange warriors who are fighting for change and reform between the thieves and the corrupt mafias. Lli ba3ed ma byousa2 bi GMA despite all the history and all the true promises he made through his life you will never trust him, and those who do, just remember that he never failed us, and never forgot us despite that he got all the opportunities in the world to do so! So from now on, stop the nagging work as if you're 100% convinced, we have a battle to win. Next step we have our party to look for and after. Now just accept the fact that you don't own all the facts GMA does, and let's lead the change from FPM's all time stronghold, Baabda!

عبدو سعدو: استطلاعات بعبدا تشير الى عدم امكان اختراق لائحة المعارضة

Now that's what I've been talking about. Do U want an FPMer to win or a Pierre Deccache, despite all the respect I have for him, but who thinks that he's more fehmen than GMA and wants to yefta7 3a 7sebo?

Abdo Saad to OTV:

- Ba'abda polls suggest the possibility of penetrating the opposition's list.
- Kasrawan polls, and Byblos, are similar to B'abda polls
- Minister Gebran Basil will certainly win in Batroun

I said this a while ago in this thread, the possibility of penetrating the list is in one of the shia seat, ramzi kanj is weak among shia, salah haraki and sabe3 are more powerful, the voters i know will not vote for kanj, put someone else in.

TAYYAR AL AOUNI misquoted, Abdo Saad said the IMPOSSIBILITY (3adam imkan) and not the POSSIBILITY (imkan).

am not relying on abdos polls, theyre really old, they date back weeks/months, I never heard him say i just did one from two three days ago... but i have my sources other than saad, a consensus shia is better for the opposition otherwise the crossing will be in favour for other shia and probably weaken the whole list for opposition.

Please explain why? People have the right to feel confortable with candidates they know?

3rd, Does anyone think for a second that GMA is risking loosing 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 MPs in a very critical phase of our history for the sake of family ties or subjective decisions or whatever BS some have said previously?Everybody makes mistakes why is GMA an exception

4th, are you FPMers? Sometimes I doubt. Maybe some love the phenomenon of Aoun, but to be a true FPMer, you have to seize every opportunity to make the change... Of course classical response if anyone mentions a concern you say are fpm....
why do we have to agree to all what GMA says or decides we all have opinions , seizing the opportunity means listening to your support base too.... because support you are no one..

Abdo Saad said that if the second candidate is from Amal , there will be a possibility of lost of this candidate, then he said, that since Amal candidate has withdrew, there's no problem, toute chose egale par ailleurs
