Alain Aoun and the rest of Baabda candidates are the party picks for one reason: FPM in Baabda, alone, has a enough popular support for the list to succeed.

Therefore there was no need for anyone's personal base, as the party can rely on its own members. All the statistics that I have looked at, even the ones of the opposing list, show a clear 55%-60% advantage to anyone fielded by FPM.

About Alain Aoun's home town, on tayyar.org it is Haret Hreik, so I am not so sure where the claims of outsider came from.

No ya MockingBird, Ramzi Kanj doesn't fall into the same category, in 2005 vs Hezballah he was able to collect 3000 Shiite votes, so no, Ramzi represents FPM's heart & soul, that's what FPM is all about, we're a Secular Party and not a Christian one, fhamouwa ba2a...

Alain Aoun, Ramzi Kanj and Hikmat Deeb, a perfect list, for a perfect win. Now stop all the nagging.

I'm not sure where do you get your info from. Alain has been in Tayyar before tayyar was even a tayyar. let's not falsify history here just because someone doesn't like a person starts bashing and making up stories.
And Habibi get the Jezzine story right also (i'm not good in research if someone can dig that one up and show it to Fakhr eldine I would Appreciate it.
Please guys stop this nonesense unless you have a known facts about any of our candidates say it other wise please don't repeat 7aki "rjall" 3al furn (to be politicaly correct) web2a sallimli 3ala sa7bak Moni (ya mami )

Zehlawi, I know the history very well. I lived it and I am living it everyday

Alain Aoun should not run this year. If he wanted to protect and help GMA, he would have supported Chakib Kortbawi candidature instead of putting pressure on him.

Anyway, Good Luck to each candidate, w Allah Y3inak ya General
