the army chief should be from any sect as long as he is patriotic and secular, not christian because it's tradition nor muslim because they are the majority.
but that's not the only sad thing, the sad story is that the political power is split three ways between president/PM/speaker instead of just one powerful president that can be from any sect yet secular.
the saddest part being that this whole institutional reform can't take place since lebanon would need a really secular population instead of the sectarian bunch of lemmings we have now everywhere.
so now, we have to ask the batrak if he is ok with the army chief and president and if the mufti is ok with the PM etc etc..
