i agree these things might have happened, but not as a standard army policy.
u know well that at the time , how the syrians vetted many of GMA loyalists and were purging them form lahoud days, till sleiman.
i agree a lot of punishmnets went against the army corps during these days.
hopefully now, these things will not repeat since we have at least a way and a voice in stopping it.
anyway appoiting an army chief will take some time, the post is sooooooooo sensitive.
i am sure that no one shall be appointed if GMA does not agree on him.
no GMA seal of apporoval, no army chief.
