We love and respect Michel Aoun as a national and a christian leader because he's a warrior not a killer who sends another minor killer to exterminate the entire family of his political opponent...
Let us clean our memory let's us remember that from 1978 till 1981 bashir Gemayel was only busy killing all his christian opponents...dying the way he died doesn't make him a saint, just like Hariri will never be what his mourtaza2a claim him to be just because he died the way he died
Bachir united the christians with force, Aoun is trying with politics. I'm
a fan of Bachir's way since its the only way to unite the 1000 feudal christian tribes we have in a 10452km2.

Anyways why are you so worried about the christians he eliminated?
The PLO and their lebanese mercaneries wouldve eradicated them even if Bachir didnt.

The big difference now is that Israel are actually allied with the arabs now to ship us out of here.
so if it all turns around and iran allies with israel again
and arabs goes back to the old times and we get a new 3abd el naser lol
will you ally your self with Israel?

There is the historical Bashir and Bashir the icon....
The history of Bashir and his icon are now in the service of Geagea and Nadim Gemayel because it's far more easy to use the image of Bashir to promote violence and war (against the shiaa per exemple) not tolerence and coexistence and understanding....just listen what will be said in his memorial day then come back and discuss what i said..

no, then we're just screwed. your argument is unrealistic in our times anyways.
We will do whatever it takes to protect ourselves. Israel is not
an option anymore, simply because Israel spits on its allies when it doesnt need them,
we saw enough of them during the mountains war

my friend, Tony Frangieh and Ahrar were victorious over the PLO (ya3ni wa2ta ken 3arafet mkassar rassou bi zgharta w wein ma ken) when Bashir decided they are feudal and should be eliminated... i'm like you i like the icon of Bashir: the force the determination the patriotism etc..but let's put myth aside and discuss history for our sake and the christian's..

dear, the vast majority of Bachir's comrades support Aoun now, please dont

mix them with some Bcherranis who came from the north for their intifadas and power,

while their area was the safest area under the Syrian occupation.

my friend, Ive always reiterated here that christians are corrupt and stupid and will always be. its a fact that 2,3 and 4 militias cant coexist in one area. Look at what happened between the army and the geageaists. Every freakin feudal with 20 supporters wanted to form a militia back then to gain some power. What Bachir did was targeted against Chamaoun and his dad, those two who got paid to establish tal el za3tar and other camps for the palestenians. Why
do you think he stepped away from Kataeb and formed a new party?
