The Christians in Lebanon are the weakest link. HA has arms and FM has money.
Jumblatt’s quad alliance will polarize the Christian leadership and once again affirms GMA’s wisdom, vision and tremendous leadership.
Gemayel, Geagea, Sfeir and the rest of the Christian M14 leadership just got bankrupted by Jumblatt because the nature of their alliance with the M14 camp is a form of prostitution slavery and followship. There is no respect or loyalty in such relationship.
On the other hand, GMA’s relation to HA is based on truthfulness and mutual respect; it has been tested in worse times during the 2006 war. SHN repeatedly confirmed his commitment to GMA and the FPM. There is no doubt SHN is sincere about his commitment; his history proves he’s a free leader made of the same fiber of GMA’s. Both of them overcame much more difficult situations before.
One important observation need to be made; SHN is not the one kissing hands. The Loyalists are the ones crawling to him and he looks down at them the way Jumblatt and company are looking down at Gemayel, Geagea, and Sfeir today. I wonder if their Christian followers started seeing some light.

Throughout all the recorded history, the only thing that was able to cure blidness is miracles. Let us pray.

As GMA once said, what’s worse than being blind is someone who doesn’t want to see!

Dream on...

They don't want to see and they don't care, as long as they defeat Aoun. Lebanon and the Christian interests are the least of their worries...

you guys never learn. Jumblat will say whatever he wants however he wants it.

in any case, it will never be to our advantage.

as for the quadruple alliance. dnt worry it it will never happen.

HA yesterday was meeting with Aoun and coming out with a strong stance in terms of demands for the formation of the Government.

But a response would not hurt unlike the President Sleiman's silence during the election and after his miserable defeat he comes out and deny he interfered.
HA has been trying also to reconcile with PSP. last week an official religious delegation visited el "jabal".

i dnt think HA will ever leave FPM for PSP. i guess they are trying to do a rapprochement between GMA & WJ. let's wait and see what will happen.

Which is why people can be so ridiculous and stupid. Suddenly people start respecting Jumblat and all. Frankly although I never agree with the guy, but I think Sami is worth a million Jumblat despite all his controversial views. We need guys like him in Lebanon who are at least clear. With people like Jumblat we will remain another 500 years just procrastinating and dragging the people instead of leading them into what they want. It would be very funny for every FPMer if Hezbollah accepted Jumblat's offer, though.

I think that it's nothing but another lebanese way of reconciliation as we're used to. Just something which will help calming down the people.

I don't believe there will be any quad' alliance. A quad' alliance would sideline a whole lebanese community, and anyway I won't speculate about it.

On a side note, it's funny that it's HA who's trying to be the bridge between some parties within 14Th March and FPM... But I'll stick to my position regarding Jumblatt : to hell with him and his PSP as long as the known issues are not adressed and as long as he doesn't publicly apologize for his acts and his racists speaches and retire from political life.

If this alliance happen , that means another civil war is at the door.
Knowing that HA is very smart they wont leave GMA alliance for joumbi.
HA knows what joumblat is playing.
On the other hand if this happen and HA still allied with GMA, so why not he will be
7aleef 7aleefo like berre.
