GMA will ask for this ONLY in case we have a well armed strong army which is not the case now.
So, GMA will never ask to disarm HA if the army doesn't have weapons to protect Lebanon from the zionists.
The Resistance had proven to everyone that they are the only one who can really protect Lebano, so stop nagging about their weapons and accept the fact that the Resistance will stay here with the weapons.
Please explain to me how did Hezbo protect lebanon?
I remember in the last war, we lost 1200 lebanese citizens, who protected those people?
we also lost all our bridges in the south
power stations
communications
most schools and houses near the border

how did Hezbo protect lebanon in this war?

With God's help, natural. Thank God they did it, otherwise the people of the south would've been displaced.

In order to set the record straight I wanted to post the Hezbollah charter, so it can be the foundation for discussing and understanding Hezbollah. This charter was never modified by Hezbollah and still stands today as its founding document, charter and program.

Here is the Hezbollah Charter:
The English version of the charter appeared in "The Jerusalem Quarterly, number Forty-Eight, Fall 1988", an israeli newspaper. It was a translation of the program published in Assafir in 1985.

Note: "It should be emphasised that none of Hizballah's web sites have published the full text of the organization's program, and they prefer to publish the 1996 electoraral program which was intended for
the specific propoganda campaign before the Lebanese Parliamentary elections in 1996.
"
source: The program of the Hezbollah (Hizbollah) 1985
original source: http://www.ict.org.il/Articles/Hiz_letter.htm :It's no longer available.

PS: Notice the poor English grammar in the note. I don't know if it means anything, but it's worth noticing.

Now, HA still hasn't adopted this program to this date and to my knowledge none of its partisans acknowledge it as their charter.

In other therms , never. It s obvious that HA will always judge the army not strong enough , and thus a never ending circle. Another thing which shows us that the MOU doesn t bring any clear solution or response to our current issues. It s just a pact where GMA accepts his dhimmitude and "protection".

Vego, HA published its charter in Assafir in 1985 in the time period of the inception of HA. This charter was never modified by Hezbollah and still stands today as its founding document, charter and program. If HA wants to reject this charter and issue a new one, good for them, but until then it remains one of the most valid and direct sources for HA's fundamental views and plans as a party and movement. If HA wants to distance itself from this charter as you are suggesting, then it must comment on it, reject some of it and then move forward with a new charter.

Joesph, HA still did not associate itself with this program until this day, and not one site related to HA has published it. U still have to prove that HA adopted this charter which it hasn't till today.
Did u bother to ask HA supporters or present officials about their stances regarding this program before confirming without a doubt it's HA's current charter? Has any HA official used it as reference about HA's ideology and views?

Vego, it is HA that published this charter in Assafir in the time period of its inception in 1985. What are you talking about? Again, If HA wants to distance itself from this charter as you are suggesting, then it must comment on it, reject some of it and then move forward with a new charter.
