no one can compare our captains and soldiers to anyone else.

they achieved excellence by fighting battles practically bare handed.

i would like to see how the american soldiers would have fared in nahr al bared using the exact same BS equipment as we had versus numerous well dug-in, veteran, very well equipped, suicidal and organized foes.

the lebanese army has some very refined captains and soldiers, we just need to supplement them with the proper equipment and keep training them.

and most importantly, the army should keep itself clean from the very few opportunist unloyal individuals that try to infiltrate it.

if we strive for a professional army, we will have the best one around.
I agree with you. I have moreover a very deep faith in the lebanese soldiers and officers. The truth is that, every time they were ordered to engage in a battle, they never disappointed us. There are so many examples which are a source of proud, one of the biggest being the LAF resistance against the militias and the syrian invasion...

You are all right....But it all depends...

There is this common specimen of Arab soldier...

Or this specimen...

And this, rather rare (but not much in Lebabon) specimen of Arab soldier...

And this very efficient breed of Arab fighter...

And a specimen of the Israeli soldier in July 2006...

I think it's all somehow pretty clear....

Lol lol lol ! I knew the "chick point" one ! And the israeli soldiers... they look like the french clowns in the french -trashy - comedy "7Th company" (La 7ème compagnie pour les amateurs), totally lost with Jean Lefebvre searching for his mates walking behind him. Man, the middle-east is a circus !
