I think you misunderstood what I wrote. Yes, I want the Lebanese Army to get armed, and I don't care where it gets its weapons. If the US doesn't want to give us weapons, then we can turn to Iran, China, and Russia.

But my point is that it will be the Lebanese Army doing the purchasing of arms and not HA, an orgnization that is labeled "terrorist" by Israel and USA.

وذكرت الصحيفة أن المستويين، السياسي والعسكري، يجريان مؤخرا مشاورات حثيثة حول إمكانية نشر "حزب الله" منظومة صواريخ مضادة للطائرات للحد من الطلعات الجوية الإسرائيلية في سماء لبنان، و«والمبادرة للقيام بأعمال تؤدي إلى اشتعال الوضع مجددا مع إسرائيل». واشارت الصحيفة أن عددا من المسؤولين عرفوا سيناريو إدخال صواريخ للبنان بأنه «خط أحمر» سيدفع إسرائيل للرد عليه بإرسال «إشارة قاسية» لـحزب الله


من ناحية ثانية كشف سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي عن نموذج نظام دفاعي صاروخي مضاد للصواريخ قصيرة المدى أطلق عليه "القبة الفولاذية" وأشار الى أن التجارب التي أجريت عليه حققت نجاحا كبيرا. فيما يقوم الجيش الإسرائيلي حاليا بإعداد القوى العاملة لتشغيل بطارياته تمهيدا لإدخاله الخدمة عام 2010

وكان سلاح الجو المذكور كشف أيضًا عن نموذج دفاعي صاروخي قصير ومتوسط المدى أطلق عليه اسم "مقلاع داوود" يتوقع جاهزيته مابين عام 2012 و 2013 وأوضحت صحيفة " هآرتس " أن سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي يطور حاليا نظامين آخرين لمواجهة الصواريخ بعيدة المدى (نظام باتريوت الأميركي ونظام حيتس الإسرائيلي الأميركي المشترك) تمهيدا لإدخالهما الخدمة خلال منتصف العقد المقبل لإسقاط الصواريخ على علو مرتفع وخارج نطاق الأراضي الإسرائيلية

We got nothing to "fry." ... Israel can "fry" us at any time...at this time, HA is some form of deterent against Isarel...once you provide an alternative then we can talk...

we all want the Lebanese Army to be very well equipped and powerful!
but the US and their allies pressure all the potential sellers not to!
the army doesn't even have any significant anti-tank missiles!

in the mean time we have a Lebanese resistance who can actually defend us, walla you don't consider it Lebanese?

Orrrrr... we provide documents to the UN proving that the Land is our right and is indeed Lebanese.

Don't expect much from Syria, ma tnezalo 3anna for 30 years...we had to take our lands by ourselves...

The same could be applied to Shebaa.
