You once used to refuse sending the army to the South under similar excuses saying it would end up protecting the Israelis.

Why should we accept to put the fate of Lebanon in the hand of one party?

Why should we trust them with the fate of our families and future?

After we're done with the presidential issue, we need to put the weapons on the table and discuss a defensive strategy on which all lebanese agree.

Read well and learn why we refused to send the army.
We are the one who protect the Lebanese army with our blood.
We give no excuses, we say and do.

for all who are asking to disarm HA in a way or another here,
what is the alternative?
Lebanon is not allowed to have any advenced arms, not allowed to have missiles, not allowed to have fighters. how can you face any attack?

after the war of 2006, Iran proposed to give the lebanese army for free anti aircrafts missiles, and the lebanese gov refused this donation.
so you cant arm you own army, and you dont want HA to have arms.
so how the hell are we going to protect the people of the south or any place in Lebanon?

what can you do when HA gives his arms, and the next day Israel start to kidnap and assasinate HA's leaders and deputees? go to UN?

You always wanted the South to be a playground for Iran.

You kept refusing and giving excuses until the Israeli war forced you to accept.

I'm afraid it will be the same with your weapons. No amount of reasoning will be of any use. It will just end up being another Israeli war that convinces you to give them up, with lives lost pointlessly.

Your tone gives me the impression that you consider yourself above the Lebanese state. Maybe we should forget all about electing a President and just send Hassan Nasrallah to Baabda if that's the case.

I know your fears and concerns and they are valid. When we come and sit on one table we should be able to resolve all our problems. The main issue is sitting on a dialogue table ! Why not ?

I think Berri this time scored too many points on the loyalists.

The defense startegy is a must .. And should include all lebanese borders and not just the south.

I know exactly why i used the term 'most" and it seems that you failed, like always,to understand the essence of a post you read.So i'll explain it in other words:My use of the word "most" is mainly intended to show you two things:

1-That your wishes are against those of the majority of Lebanese.

2-That you should learn at some point to respect the choices of the majority of the people if you want to have some credibility when you suggest something...but who am i kidding...

Enough of this silly bravado it has zero effect on anyone except that it makes you look very bad.
Again.

Stop whining and try to coexist with the choices of the majority of the people.

It's called democracy.

You keeping ignoring that, really makes you look very bad.

Since we've agreed on a president, why not elect him and then start a dialogue in Baabda.

Dont know why you people are taking the presidential vacancy for granted.
