There is no such thing as implicitly denying a statement you already asserted, loudly and explicitly. If indeed you want to deny it (or reject it), you must deny it loudly and explicitly as well.

There is only one manifesto published in 1985. It still stands today because it was never replaced.

It is not rumors. It was articulated by HA and published by a prominent Lebanese newspaper.

And why do we need to deny or justify anything to you and your likes? You give yourselves too much importance. You need to know once and for all, LF’ers and Kata2eb mean nothing to us. You don’t trust our motives? A simple solution would be for you to move or live with it. Don’t expect any explanation from us, not now not ever. Make as much noise as you want we’re deaf when it comes to you. I’ll tell you one thing though, if the LF and their allies try anything stupid, they will be wiped out and silenced permanently.

Let me start by saying that I am not LF, and you do not have at all the right to classify me the way you want, or insinuate anything to that effect. I am an independent. You define yourself and I will define myself, it works better that way. I also would like to assure you that I am as important as you are, I give myself no more importance but no less. I decide for myself when to move and when to stay, and do not presume to tell people to live with this or live with that, it is rude, arrogant and an unacceptable way to communicate with fellow citizen that have as much right to their country as you do.

First, I classify people according to what they write. Your words tell a lot about you as mine tell a lot about me. I’m not denying your importance as an individual, nor would I even try to. My arrogance as you may call it comes from the fact of the ignorance inserted in some posts that demand swift and direct answers.

We’re fellow citizens?? Since when?? For the last three years we’ve been defined as either Syrians or Iranians and lately as both, but not Lebanese.
As a Syrian/Iranian fellow citizen, my advice to you comes from the heart. We seem to cause many people anxieties that are increasing at an exponential rate. Moving away from us would be the logical solution, because we’re not going anywhere nor are we going to change our ways.

Regarding that manifesto of yours, if it’s true (and I know for a fact it’s not), do you seriously think a party like HA has not evolved since the 80’s? Can you honestly tell me that after all Lebanon has been through since the civil war, we’re stuck in the past and refuse to change our ways?
Instead of attacking HA in every post why don’t you try to learn more about them with an open mind free of prejudgment and fear?
Go back on this forum and read some of my posts and those of others like me, we have a lot to give for those who want to take.

I understand that many here say that HA's goals and the way it views itself have evolved. Assuming that is the case, I have a few questions:
1. Why not clarify that to Lebanon with a clear new charter that articulates what HA stands for today and in the future. Where is the negative in that? Why wasn't that done? Wouldn't that be in line with what you say about HA's intentions towards Lebanon and its interest in making its evolution felt by its fellow Lebanese?
2. Why not clarify its position regarding the 1985 manifesto published in Assafir. If HA believes its a fabrication, come out and say so. If it moved away from these statements, come out and reject them.

I do not deny HA's right to be whatever kind of party it wants to be, so long that it is an unarmed political party. As an advocate for democracy, I think it is their absolute right. I only reserve the right to stand against them politically if I don't agree with their goals for Lebanon and professed values and charter.
