It is really really sad seeing what FPM has turned into.
We are expats for a reason, and whom we chose to vote for directly affects our will to come back home.
Today I see that you guys are doing the impossible for it to happen, so I see absolutely no reason to vote for you. (bear in mind, I did not even vote for the others, but if I had the opportunity to do it, I would vote white)
Expats are expats for many reasons: Economical, political, security etc... and I always thought that the prevalence was economical, until the last elections.
Where most of them voted for corruption over a state within a state.
It is a reality you cannot avoid anymore. Majority of Lebanese (in and out of Lebanon) are fed up with HA's tour de force, weapons and decisions of war and peace.
Stop supporting that, and you will be amazed at how many people will fall back under FPM's reform program. And I can assure I will be the first to do so.
What you just said about H A's "tour de force" proves my point! As if you have no idea what is going on here... all this and i am supposing you have been following the news regarding Lenanon for quite some time. How about those who are completely clueless and don't follow Lebanese news? My relatives from Austalia have STRICTLY no idea what goes on here. On their visit to Lebanon for the first time in 25 years they were making fun of arab muslims in Austalia and how some kind of motorists who drive in groups (i forgot how they called them) went around and stripped veiled women from their hijab! and thought that was funny! You could say they are just ignorants, but I can assure you most of them outside think this way. We have to live side by side here, we have to deal with sectarian problems. You think they care? nd I am not talking about you, I am talking about some people I know, and I don't mean ALL of them are like that! I am just saying we should study a bit more the situation of people like that bcoz we don't need more problems in the future!

Plus why do you feel we are talking about you??? Well I am not anyway! I am just saying things I know so that others may use it in creating their opinion that's all.
Still this is only a discussion NOTHING is official (I AM NOT EVEN AN FPMer!) So why are you threatening to vote white? I thought you beleived in discussions and you reject totalitarian structures ? or you just want to hear one opinion???

what is this?
the new strategy to loose the diaspora vote in 2013?

how about we make it ok for diaspora to vote in the consulates where they live if they are going to vote for you; the rest will make them fly to Lebanon and make them live there for 6 months before they can vote?

that will give you a better chance ; don't you think?

just be fair and let everyone vote.

regards

Anyway FPM's officially were the first to stand behind ex-pats voting, and will remain so. When you think of this topic the first image that comes to mind is that of Neemtallah shouting on TV for that:)

I would rather let her vote and not those who sold their vote for a fist of dollars.

I know; I just wanted to be sarcastic especially after all those threads trying to explain the loss of the 2009 election.

these will always be here.....but at least they suffer the same I do ( from taxes , Hospitals ,.....) some day the fist of dollars will not be enough to make them swing their votes and this is our job to "enlighten" them and make that day near.....

i think the diaspora should vote for thier own MPs
let's say 10 MPs chosen by the diaspora, they would have particiapated in the vote, and still not making the majour decision since it's not them who's living in lebanon and suffering from the results
