I highly doubt Sweden or germany or UK or Danemark or Ireland or etc.. are "curtailing the natural rights of their diaspora" with the conditions they have set as per expats' voting rights.
Each of these countries, to name a few, has set conditions when it comes to expats' right to vote. For instance the citizen should not have been living outside the country for more than 10years, other conditions are even more restrictives.
Each country has its constitution and conditions and some of these countries are leaders in terms of human rights.
As long as these conditions are realistic and not deceptive, they ought to be viewed as means to improve the electoral law.
