People like Jozo are failing to understand something very important, Maronites and Christians in general are one of the main roots of this country and will always be.

Once i was listening to a show on Sawt Al Mahabe, there was a debate between a priest and a sunni cheikh. The cheikh (and i'll never forget that!) asked the priest: You christians have been persecuted and killed by thousands in the Middle-East, how come are you still here after centuries?
The Priest answered: We Christians are like lambs... humans have been slaughtering and eating lambs for centuries, and yet, their specy is still well present...

That's why, Jozo and all those who think like him can choak with their own anger. We'll always be here and we'll always fight for the unity of this country and for everything Lebanon stands for, no matter what they do to kick us out, to slaughter us, to buy our land with their petrodollars or to divide our beloved country. It's true We were once called Switzerland of the Middle east, but that doesn't mean we'll ever be divided in Cantons! EVER!

رأى مفتي جبل لبنان الشيخ محمد علي الجوزو أن "المطلوب من الاكثرية تأليف حكومة أكثرية لتكون العودة الى الحق وليفرجوها عنا"، لافتاً الى أنه "انتقدهم لعدم استعمالهم هذا الحق منذ بداية التأليف واسألهم لماذا ما زلتم متمسكين بحكومة الوحدة الوطنية؟" ، معتبراً "أننا اليوم أمام تيار عائلة عون وصهره".
ودعا الجوزو في حديث الى صحيفة "الديار" رئيس الجمهورية العماد ميشال سليمان الى اتخاذ موقف لانقاذ البلد حتى لو كان رئيساً توافقياً وكفانا هدراً للوقت، مشيراً الى أن "قوة رئيس الجمهورية في مركزه وهو يرأس جميع جلسات مجلس الوزراء اي أنه الرقم 1 فكفى مزايدات أن لا صلاحيات له وامضاؤه يكون الى جانب رئيس الحكومة".
وتساءل الجوزو "الان بعد أن استقل لبنان والحريري بدمائه حرر لبنان اصبحنا نبالغ في الدلال في تأليف الحكومة"؟
ولفت الجوزو الى أننا "نريد من الرئيس سليمان أن يكون حكماً بكل معنى الكلمة وأن لا يستمر في مواقفه أن لا حكومة الا حكومة وحدة وطنية"، مشيراً الى أن "الحل هو بتطبيق الديمقراطية وقيام حكومة أكثرية تحكم واقلية تعارض"، مضيفاً أن "من سيهددنا بالسلاح فهذا بالـتأكيد لا يعتبر ديمقراطية بحسب تعبيره.
وإعتبر الجوزو أن "رئيس تكتل "التغيير والاصلاح" العماد ميشال عون ليس الوحيد في لعبة العرقلة بل المعارضة كلها تلعب هذا الدور".
ورأى الجوزو أن "زعيم المعارضة هو رئيس المجلس النيابي نبيه بري والامين العام لـ"حزب الله" السيد حسن نصرالله بايعه والاول نال مطالبه المحقة".
وأشار الجوزو الى "تهديد التيار "الوطني الحر" برفع دعوى قضائية عليه"، مؤكداً أنه "سيرفع دعوى بتهمة تعطيل عون للحياة السياسية لاشهر طويلة والاضرار بالاقتصاد اللبناني وسمعة لبنان"، مشدداً على أنه "سيكسبها بالتأكيد وهي ستكون فرصة لاتكلك عن كل شيء اتحفظ عليه الان".
وأكّد الجوزو أن "البطريريك الماروني نصر الله صفيرهو ضمير لبنان"، مشيرا إلى "أن سبب اعتزاز المعارضة ومطالبها هي أحداث السابع من أيار حين استعمل سلاح "حزب الله في الداخل"، موجها "اللوم لجماعة السنة لأنهم لم يضعوا شروطا على رئيس المجلس النيابي نبيه بري قبل انتخابه رئيسا للبرلمان".
وتوجه الجوزو الى رئيس "اللقاء الديمقراطي" النائب وليد جنبلاط، محذرا إياه من أن إقليم الخروب هو الذي يرجح الانتخابات في الشوف، مشيرا الى أنه "نحن لسنا أتباعا حتى تحركنا كالعميان، ساعة مع العروبة وساعة مع إيران"، مشيراً الى أن "جنبلاط لم يستطع الخروج من 14 اذار، فالحريري على رأس 14 اذار وجنبلاط يقول أنا مع الحريري اي انه ما زال في 14 اذار".
وإعتبر أن "المعارضة مرتبطة بسوريا أكثر من اي شيء اخر واقرب اليها من لبنان وتقوم بالعرقلة"، معتبراً أن " الحملة ضده اليوم ستؤهله لان يصبح يوماً ما نائباً أو وزيراً وربما عضوا في مجلس الشيوخ في حال نشوئه

You are right let me check for a second plz
1- before christains where more than 65% of lebanese population now they are 30 or 40%
2- most of lebanese immigrante are Christians.
3- christians in lebanon have lost the political power
4- there is chrsitians political parti as mach as people so for sure christian are united !

But we're still here aren't we??????????? and as long as there's one of us left, we will fight for our survival and our right to belong to Lebanon! Nchalla bi koun fi 1000 political parties, at least we have a presence and we can raise our voice, i don't think christians in Syria, Jordan or Egypt can say the same!
