playing it dirty and playing it smart are not the same thing

fpm could use a smart pill instead of suffering from a bipolar disorder between pure good and bad.

smart is always the third option

so u can't convince me that we need to be dirty pragmatic and end up secterian fascists cuz we need to do whatever it takes to win.

that's not what this game is all about

From yesterday:

12:50pm MP Michel Pharaon after meeting with U.S. Ambassador Michele Sison: It will soon become clear who is cooperating in the implementation of the constitution and allowing the premiership to play its role fully.

As long as Hariri is given what he wants, who cares about the other communities … says Mr Pharaon.

armenians are not waiting for a harirists to acknowledge them, whether he's a true harririst or an fake agent provokateur.

case closed.
And what would the purpose of doing this be?

Let me elaborate in short (since I have a meeeting:)) the eries of factors which led to failure (w bi kil ma7abe and objectivity)

- a) Psychological factor of May 7: Ashrafieh was previously khtout tamess in each war, then comes May 7 (not to forget reaction of Hizbullah after Charbel Khalil's critic toward Hizbullah as well a the eries of bombs of which Syria is accused in collaboration with Hizbullah, whether true or not, this is the "perception" of Ashfrieh's people). This led the residents to remember this untherapeuted fear of another.

- b) Without the Armenian voices the difference would have been around 5000-6000 voices and not only 1000. What does this difference mean? It means TAYYAR EL WATANI took people fr GRANTED and DID NOT WORK!! A party which takes people for granted is doomed to failure.

- c) Sehnaoui a bad choice, don't be sad and mad, it has never been as such that when two cousins compete the one who who appeared a second had a chance. Always the pioneer gets the advantage or none of both. Plus what I previously elaborated.

- d) Al mawakef el syesye 3amatan, political speech regarding Lebanese in Syrian prisons, the train back on the track, May 7 a victory, what did Samer Hanna do in the South of Lebanon.... etc... were failures.

- e) Mawkef l syese taba3 Poussy. A guy who himself is on Aoun's list but does not back Aoun's policy awakes the perception that Aoun is wrong (not sa7). Poussy messed it completely for any neutrals to vote for Aoun's list.

- f) Abou Jamra a vice Prime Minister without a concrete role in the ministry, without effectivity and efficiency, without a popular base in Ashrafieh, go back to point (b) above

- g) Nayla as a candidate for the Orthodox, Ashrafieh's people prefer the "class" and bourgeoise, this is their lifestyle and she portrays it. FPM failed to make focus groups to understand the ground and offer such candidates which reflect the people of Ashrafieh's lifestyle. This candidate would have failed in Akkar or in the South because each region has its features and chracteristics.

Ok, 3ende meeting:) Let this be a guideline for FPM and accept constructive critic w ma ba2a tkazbon 3a 7elkon because it won't help in the next elections.
i really like your points of view and whether they made us loose in Beirut or not i will answer below, as for the racist ppl in this forum try to learn and discuss things like real ppl and i wont say more so that my post wont be deleted because i like Joumana discussion

a- i am 100% sure psychological factor was not it but on contrary it was the media factor on the psychological factor. because like may 7 there was also the invasion of Ash which was xxxxx times worse yet no one seemed to care or even remember which i found weird. as for syria points i think it got nothing to do with it because pharon is syria number 1 guy (in my opinion)

b- the difference in number of votes whether it was 1,000 or 100,000 doesnt mean that a party didnt work all it means that the other side got more voted else how can u explain difference in Baabda i think the loyalists there worked hard but simply had no enough votes. and u might be right but the difference surely doesnt imply it

c- Sehnaoui is a perfect choice in my view cause he is young in opposition to his old (in age and in syrian age) relative that can take votes for him other that otherwise would vote for pharon and a voice stolen is counted as 2. as for ur point here u r right his relative will always have more votes until Sehnaoui gets better and better ;)

d- some of the mawa2if syesye i would like to agree with u on them but not all. lets not go run after media campaings GMA did says things i think he shouldnt have said and May 7 Great Day was a mistake but as for the rest i wont go into but they r not related to lose or win just campaings

e- i dont know what poussy ashkar said or done cause i am not from Ash and didnt followup on his campaings but the situation of poussy other than he is liked amongst the population of Ash and khadimon ktir he is same point as (c) in contrast to LF and Poussy

f- what u think of Abou Jamra is "your opinion" and has nothing to do if ppl think like u or not but i think he needed more media campaigns and attention it was not enough what he had

g- i really object on the example u gave in this point that chrisitians or Ash ppl like "class" for the following reasons
1- not all Ash ppl are "class" i dont know waht u mean by it but there are a LOT of poor and under avg there and there are LOTS more that dont care for such things
2- Same as point (1) not all christians are like that and not all in other religions are not like that
so i think in this point u messed up a LOT Nayla was good just cause she was young and daughter of Jibran and granddaughter of ghassan and relative of... long story there and many ppl thought she desrved to be given a chance

and we r not lying on ourselves but as i seen ur constructive critic (in ur point of view) i hope u can see mine
i do admit that we lost in many areas we thought we were going to ( Ash not one of them) and we did loose the 30-35 that we set as goal that is why WE LOST OUR GOAL and not the elections cause as for the elections we got better with a bigger takatoul and if no one mentioned anything about the 30-35 we wouldnt have "lost" anything
as for the christian majority
i wish u can understand that GMA is the biggest christian representive for the following reasons
1- there is no such thing as M14 christians it is a di7ik 3al d2oun and we r seeing it now (no one talks with the other)
2- GMA represents by him self as FPM much more than the others and i dont want to go into details
3- same way like u guys M14 admit that the previous elections GMA represented 70% of christians with 21 MPs (yet u didnt say so before ;) ) u guys are now saying GMA represent i dont know how much exactly but lets say 42%. the funny thing is u keep changing ur minds, for a period of time u say sha3bieh alit and then no one cares about GMa and then u say u guys won siasian and yet u come back and say he still got 42% how can u say that and he still kept what he had and even more now with all the wars made on him and batrak sfeir and...

how u guys also admit on things not just critsize
sry somewhat long but i rly had to answer cause this is the first post i see that rly deserves an answer

Khaye Armenian,

I wasn't blaming Tashnag.

I meant that we relied too much on Tashnag's Big Surprise in Beirut el Oula, that we somehow rkhineha and relaxed, and at the end the outcome wasn't what we were expecting.

That's it :)
