Yes I agree with you, most of these people are trying to rise again, associating themselves to GMA. But I haven't seen GMA let's say defending Wahab, Kandil...

First of all the pro-syrian you are saying? Let's say GMA allied with Joumblatt would you have said that he made alliances with non pro-syrian.

I DO NOT LIKE TO SEE GMA MAKING ALLIANCES WITH ANY BODY, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE PEOPLE & PARTIES RUNNING AFTER GMA, REMOVING THEIR DESTRUCTIVE BELIEFS AND FOLLOWING HIS BELIEFS THAT WERE ALL THE TIME POSTED FROM FRANCE

If you were as you are claiming behind FPM for the past 15 years then you would know that ALL of them somehow worked and allied with Syria.

WE PUSHED, FORCED, PREACHED PEOPLE AND PARTIES NOT TO BE PRO-SYRIANS, AND NOT TO WORK WITH THEM AND WHEN WE WERE IN DOWNTOWN ON 14 MARCH, THEY WERE THERE WITH US ASKING SYRIA TO LEAVE. IT IS NOT ME WHO INVENTED THIS WORD, PRO-SYRIAN AND STILL DECLARING THEMSELVED PRO-SYRIAN IN LEBANON (AL KHAT EL SOURRY).

As for surviving the boycott, GMA didn't really need any of these alliances to survive anything. Remember, he had the people during these elections. Let's look at his election alliances one by one. In Zahle, he allied with Skaff who is considered by the majority of the Christians in Zahle as their leader and they love him. Skaff has always been a good guy and only got a bit close to the Syrian regime during the past 2 years (rustom regime) so again he did a bit of relationships with Syria but compared to others houwe dahha. plus everyone can confirm in Zahle that he is an edame and never stole a penny from the people nor did he make any profit from teh Syrians. Now for the results in Zahle, it is true that the alliance was a success and both GMA and Skaff strengthened each other.

In Metn, GMA allied with Murr. As you and I know, Murr also was one of the ones who were close to the syrian regime and probably benefited from it. However although I believe that Murr has given us a lot of votes, I think that by himself, GMA could have also done a lot in metn, maybe 2 deputees less if any that's it.

For the North, GMA allied with Franjieh. We all know that Franjieh is a friend of the syrian ruling family. I also agree with you that he probably benefited from them, but unlike others he also benefited his region and mainly the christians and actually noon-christians living in it. So i am not saying that he is 100% clean, but at least he gave the people a lot instead of only steeling as all did. Now as you also know the whole list lost, and thus, this alliance didn;t actually give any physical benefit to GMA.

HE COULD HAVE SEPARATED HIMSELF FROM 14 MARCH & 8 MARCH, AND CREATED OR ESTABLISHED A NEW LINE AND NOT ABIDING BY ANY. IN FRANCE HE WAS STRONGGER THAN ALL BECAUSE HE DID NOT ASSOCIATE HIMSELF WITH ANY.

Now by saying of course no means that you still believe taht GMA is a patriot taht would never sell his country or his people.

You know I had some talks with Syrian people. They see in GMA an honest, patriot man. they admit that Syria was totally wrongful in hat it did to lebanon, but then they admit that GMA is a courageous man who knows when to oppose and when to halt the attacks.

I can't tell about what HA is planning. However, GMA personally told me that he trusts them and I believe him because GMA is not a fool nor an idiot nor eben mberih, and none of the schemes pass unnoticed to him. Also as a Christian, I really believe that what GMA did with HA is really un bouchon de securite for the country. Can you imagine for a second if GMA stood with the others against HA and declared war on them? Where would we have been? A civil war? Maybe.

my reply to you that there's no alliance between FPM and HA, and what's going now is not an alliance.It may happen one day but it's not the case nowadays.When FPM makes an alliance with any party it will be proud to announce that alliance,and it will be ashamed of nothing.Just as it was not ashamed of the MOU and was proud to announce that.
