Default What does s.a.u.d.i. Stands for? - 23rd October 2008

we all know how the land formerly called Najad wal Hijjaz was occupied by one family its name changed to reflect their own.
Since oil was first found in commercial quantity is these lands, the world have known no peace ( the blame is on others too),
but the name SAUDI & OIL was imprinted in the minds of people all over the world.
what does the name of that family that usurped a nation means .
to some it means that the family & nation are one.
for many it means a whole lot of worries and thoughts.
here goes what many thinks it means or something along that line.

S: SUPPRESSION
A: ABSOLUTE AUTHORITHY
U: UNDERDEVELOMENT OF HUMAN CAPITAL
D: DISFUNCTIONAL SOCIETY
I : INDOCTRINATION.

some people might ask,why now all the negativity about that country?
well, when one nation decides to interfere in other people's lives through terror, money, media, economic vagaries, they should expect nothing short of an outright resistance.

Other suggestions are welcome.

Anyway... back to the topic, although I respect SA for some of its stances, it is innapropriate and provocative to thank Saudi Arabia in this way.

Majority of Lebanese are strangers to this initiative. It is like we start seing "THANK YOU ITALY and VATICAN" posters in the streets.

I already said, like many heazbollah people, in the long term Lebanon seems too much instable.
We need to think federal country if not partition.
why thank vatican and italy?

when we have marr me3rab pix all over and the saints thanking him ??
we thnak our heores locally, lashouu alwhed youba3edd.

THANK U sg FOR SPARING SOME OF US.,
now that is a thank you.
