- if a person wants to vote FPM, i hope FPM takes care of his transportation

- I am not getting my money back, I payed my share in renting the plane, that is part of my help to Kataeb

- I am talking for my personal experience in Kataeb, I dont know about LF but i suppose they are doing the same, they are also renting planes the same way as we are, sometimes its the same plane too. No the money is comming from my pocket.
I dont see why i should beleive the money isnt comming from the pockets of my Tayyar friends while the money out of my pocket is hariri's
Are tayyar people richer then me?
Well simply put, the loyalists will gain MP seats, and if they are the majority will form a goverment on their own and rob the country to get the money they have invested in the tickets (and other "gifts") back. Plus profit of course. Got it?

Let's say they took my ID.
1) If they pay me
I have my passport
2) If they don't
all the people in my village know me

Boy how some people have the insolence to lie straight into other people's faces and be da*n proud of it.

In case memory has failed you, there was a law presented in parliament allowing the immigrants to vote and it didn't pass, knowing the loyalists had the majority in parliament. C&R spearheaded the fight to pass this law but lost.

So next time, do not hide your shame by lumping it on others. Be a man and admit what you have done.

In case memory has failed you, the law was never passed through the goverment, Faouzi Saloukh objected on it because he said Embassys will not be ready for 2009 election

Ok, I will check again to see if I got mixed up with the laws. If u turn out to be correct, I'll retract my earlier statement.

Regarding Fawzi Sallokh's comments, I know he said the embassies were still not ready technical wise, though I don't agree with him and see there are ways to overcome this obstacle.

As far as I remember, there were 2 law proposals among many to be passed in parliament regarding the 2009 election law reforms: one about lowering the voting age to 18 which failed bc the loyalists voted against it while C&R and HA/Amal voted for it, and the other about the right of immigrants to vote which failed bc the loyalists and HA/Amal voted against it while only C&R voted for it.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

You are wrong. You are confusing it with the law for a unified list where the candidates list is printed by the goverment.

The law for expatriates to vote was accepted by all. The compromise was for it to be in 2013. FPM wanted it in 2009, however it was said that the state cannot be ready for the elections (While of course private parties can: they can make passports and IDs, give tickets and all). I am not sure who was against it. Maybe that was the compromise in order to pass it.
