No my friend, each Lebanese is free to vote according to his/her own parameters. You cannot say "this is how the Lebanese do the voting", I am Lebanese and I do not vote without elaboration on the actual candidate per se and I know many Lebanese who don't squarely vote based on the political affiliation of the candidate, you can find such voters even within political parties and/or affiliated supporters - let alone the independent street.

In fact, I consider myself and those voters more IN than all of those that claim they know what they're doing by relinquishing their due diligence to polarization.

i understand ur position. if that was the case with me, i'd just go vote and simply take out the name of boutros harb hehe

the elections of lebanon will only get weirder come elections day and not the other way around.

sometimes things will turn into a twilight zone.

the problem being the election law itself.

100$ seem like the proper amount of money in exchange for one's freedom and dignity.

now if the offer was 90$ then one should not accept.

and finally if we really want to make quick extra dollars, we can work in a brothel and probably make more than 100$ per night.

100$ is the price to buy a small goat. you can milk it to make labneh
and jebneh for the next 4 years. say for a family of 10 voters
that's a small herd of 10 goats, you can eat and also export
labneh and jebneh to neighbouring countries.
after 4 years, you can slaughter 5 of them for the za3im
coming to visit the village on the occasion of the 2013 elections
and you will get the price of 10 goats, that will make you 15 goats.
of course, i am not taking into account the fact that they may reproduce.
