I will vote for the only man, party, men who refused to live with humilation, refused to live without dignity, for people that resisted the syrian boots when everyone were feeling good licking it.

Let's see what's on the menu to see whom I can vote for and feel like I made a valuable contribution to humanity's fate.

On the christian side:

Aoun: a man who sold his soul to the devil. I liken him so much to our esteemed Patriarch Houwayyek who had good intentions but his acts betrayed every single shred of consistency, logic and common sense.
If he werent so old I'd place my bets on him. But thanks no thanks.

Gemayyel: An incompetent, arrogant, narcisitic inept ex president who along with three other maronite figures will go down in history as most responsiblle for the demise of the christians in Lebanon.

Geagea: A failed military strategist and a murderer with as much knowledge of history to equal the little understanding he has of it.

Elmour: well he makes a chameleon look like a static creature with his opportunitstic amorphism. He knows deep down the country is a basket case so he focuses his effort on what gets him the highest monetary returns to his invested loyalties.

Skaf: The heir of a landholder with a lustre associated to his name far outweighing his memorable achievements.

Franjieh: A northern tribal warlord with an insatiable yearning to be a Syrian agent. his jibes are good though.

Cham3oun, Eddeh, Bwayz, S3ayd: well If I were good with my hands I'd make puppet effigies of them and rent a stall in downtown beirut and invite the tourists to watch the show with a tin in front for small change.

On the Druze side:
Junblatt: An ethnic cleanser whose thirst for blood blinds him from ever seeing beyond the fleeting pleasure of killing christians.

Erslan: Useless leader whose influence outside occupation time is barely noticeable outside his innercircle of close friends.

On the Muslim side:

Sanioura: A man who would like us to believe in his patriotic credentials but his history and corruption make us doubt our own existence more than his suitable credentials.

Hariri Jr: The biggest enigma of all. Why would a man of his wealth want to bother with the fate of a country destined for eternal strife while he could be living in some civilised nation enjoying all it has to offer of carnal and sensuous pleasures? He knows who killed his dad and yet he wants to pit the country against a brutal regime that knows of one way to deal with its adversaries.

Karami: Another link in this long string of men who always join a party 20 years after it's all over. His bad timing is alomost impeccable. A reminder of a shameful past of a family caught between what it thinks it's best for the country and its intrinsic prejudices.

Berri: well if they add a new category in the Nobel Prize for treason and corruption the man would become a perennial contestant.

Nasrallah: a megalomaniac of the first degree who could never contribute to a country more than death and destruction under whatever guise he and his fans try to portray it.

And what's left is neither here nor there.

I am talking about people like Ibrahim Kanaan, Ghassan Mkheiber, Salim Aoun, Abbas Hachem and Farid Al Khazen.

What do you mean by Mkheiber Jr. isn't free to do what he wants?

do u think he can be out of the fpm political line if he wanted to ?

that's what i meant.

i'm not saying he is 'NOT FREE' like in a slave, i'm saying that for me political lines says it all and make ppl MPs nothing else.

i thought my other posts cleared my position on this.

smaller electoral zones will change that. not our current law.

No one is asking him to be out of FPM's political line

On the contrary, he went beyond FPM's electoral program and actually worked on his own personal activisim, one of them being the release of Lebanese prisoners in Syria which he has been known for.

That's what was mean by

Now if you get me another candidate on C&R's list but that has much less credentials than Mkheiber, I would definitely vote the latter first and then look outside C&R for candidates that might have better credentials.

Here are a couple of topics that fall in context:

MP's Report Card

Maten current MPs: Who do you want to be back as candidate? (You can vote for more than one option)
