Default 2009 Parliamentary elections - Who will you vote for? - 21st September 2008

This is a very important poll, I personally have the feeling that the vast majority of the Lebanese made up their mind about who will they vote for and they won't change their mind no matter what happened, those who support the opposition will keep supporting the opposition no matter what happens, and those who support the loyalists will keep supporting the loyalists no matter what happens.

So vote and discuss

I have been advancing the candidate's own political agenda and personal background over its affiliated political line and would continue doing so.

My main requirements for a candidate are the following:

1. Ability to fight public and corporate corruption

2. Lobbying for and applying an emergency plan for the economy

3. Promoting regional development (as opposed to centralized)

4. Socio-Economic focus

5. Security and Military focus

I decided to vote for those that are closest to those objectives, but I might vote for people that aren't even fit to be parliamentarians if that means they will prevent someone who IMO would actually fight those objectives (ie voting Kamil Khoury in order to defeat Amine Gemayel), I hope that we don't get there in choosing the least worst option but actually voting convincingly to candidates that we really believe in.

i dont know to whom that mighy supposedly apply here, last i checked 'free' ppl like that were as extinct as the dodo bird.

every MP follows somebody, the is no way for an indepedant to win without forging an alliance and joining a certain political guild, whether he really means it or not.

One can be affiliated and still have a personalized program that fits under the party he/she is affiliated to but still goes into details - however the most important part also remains in application.

If the people don't ask for such levels of details then politicians would certainly not care.

For starters, can someone link to the various electoral programs of the different parties for 2009?
