HA are well entrenched in the camps... However It doesn't seem that they are associated with these groups! ..
1 - yes they are deeply pro Abbas = Pro Hariri (by way of puppets solidarity) $$$ talk.

2 - yes Hamas does have a small foothold but not very effective. Camps in Lebanon are run by $$$ and other things. Fata7 has a lot and Osbat al Ansar has a lot. Hamas has shi*.

3- Would you please explain what you mean by "well entranched"? So that I can state what I know about the issue.

Hariri and his saudi masters will never allow Osbat al ansar to be wiped out. You think a cat will allow you to declaw her? If Osbat al Ansar is gone then the wahhabi will lose everything in Lebanon. All this talk about an all out war between fata7 and fanatics is BS. It will never happen. Some minor skirmishes for revenge etc.. and to fight over influence and $$. Remember: More influence means more $$$ from whoever want his/her interests be protected.

Disarmament in Lebanon should become a matter of principle and priority. AND it doesn't matter who gets disarmed first.

"as of a matter of principle" don't you think that Palestinians should be disarmed first, because "in principal" the LF was founded to fight those Palestinias? no?

Thanks for the Reply.

I meant by entrenched, that they have a defence mechanism inside the camps, that may be triggered to stop any possible attack from the camp by pro Harirists. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to turn their backs to fight Israel.

These preparations have been underway for a while now. They are not meant to rid the camps of the extremists per say, they are meant to have exclusive control over the camps by Fath by eliminating Hamas. Once that’s done, Fath and the Salafists/Wahhabis can become a force to be reckoned with without any interference from within the camps. There is a broader picture to be looked at when looking at the plans for the Palestinian camps in the future of Lebanon.
Fath and the salafists/wahhabis are on the same wavelength basically as it relates to the future of Palestinians in Lebanon, which in turn is on the same wavelength with the US and Israeli plan. Hamas is not, draw your own conclusions.
Just food for the thoughts.

Agree on the food, when it comes to the scums of PLO. But i doubt Hamas is of any challenging importance to those scums, anywhere in Lebanon. On the other hand, it seems that the salafi/wahhabi bunch in those camps constitute a direct threat to the same PLO future plans, but through the more classic approach: War over the total control of the farms business and the question of which abu 2roun will ultimately be in charge.

I doubt that fath and the salafists in the camps are working together. they both have seperate ideologies, and keep in mind that the salafists from all over the arab world not Palestine exclusively.

Fateh would rather keep the lebanese army happy than **** them off on the long run.
