No one obeys to no one we're not in KSA.

In a political science view, parliamentarians come before members of the executive branch (ministers) because they are elected by the people and report to people while the latter are appointed by MPs and report to parliament. reminder: Lebanon is a republic, meaning the power is from the public.

GMA as head of a parliament block representing about 52% of Christians, has all the rights to ask for what he wants in order to enter government.
Of course Hariri has the right to reject (as i said no one obeys; anyway obeisance is reserved to slaves and slave minded people) and form a goverment without C&R and if wins the vote of confidence mabrouk 3aleh.

But if he wishes to have C&R in government, when negotiations fail, his only choice is to accept what GMA is requesting; the executive branch accepts the demands of the legislative branch (reminder the legislative branch has to approve the works of the executive branch)

[] i bet you will agree to that
i never heard SH SAAD saying any thing bad about any body after he was appointed by the majority to form the government except i will form a unity government but i heard lots of aydok raso b7iet elsin and all this C R A P so word obey is nothing to the C R A P most use

Check qui parles! Ceux dont Hariri ne les valuent pas, en leur donnant a eux et aux autres isolationistes 3 ministeres.

It's clear to me that english is not your first language of discussion, so maybe you the weight and full meaning of the word "obey" was not very clear to you.

The difference that I saw in the past 2 month is mainly related to the fact that GMA comes from a military background while Hariri comes from a corporate background.

Hariri speaks and acts like a diplomat (in-line with what you said) while his MPs and allies go on and on on all media attacking GMA, making up lies, making up stories... which in my opinion is worse than saying a bad word (lying and distorting the truth can be punished by law but not a single law prevents bad words). Hariri could easily ask them to stop all this BS, but since they haven't stopped i suspect he never asked.

On the other hand, GMA speaks up his mind, say what he wants to say, and speaks like the people (almost street language). His MPs are silent compared to future MPs. GMA is a leader, he's putting himself on the front and not hiding behind his "soldiers". So far no lies came out, no stories were fabricated (FPM can easily create a story for example that Hariri is having family issues with his brother or step-mom... it's just not FPM style)

In my opinion:
bad words arer better than lies
a leader is 1000000 times better than a diplomat and more honest
speaking one's mind is 100000 times better than hiding
Only cowards don't have the guts to say what you want and delegating it to someone else

If Gebran Bassil won the elections, Saad will still refuse him on the basis on GMA's proposal some 8 or 9 months ago that MP's should not also be ministers. Saad and co are not fooling anyone (well, not the ones who can think independantly). M14's excuse on Bassil losing the elections is pitiful to say the least, especially when one remembers their 2, not 1, but 2 losers as Presidential candidates.

Gebran Bassil is one of the top performers from the previous cabinet. From a managerial point of view, it doesn't make sense to replace him.

According to Saad's list of defenitions, the collusion of the terms "strong" and "Christian" must be erased. While many Christian fascists have succumbed to the power of money, GMA continues to be the leading beacon of hope for showing that Christian moderation and national unity can co-exist without the aid of corruption.

عون ذهب إلى حيث تريد الأكثرية

19 آب 2009 -

Al Nachra

GMA is preparing Gebran Bassil as his successor while Hariri and co are trying to burn Bassil politically ... But what they don't realize that bad publicity by Hariri and co will make Bassil more popular, at least among FPMers
