1-wello has practically dropped their revolution, he is just waiting for the excuse or ekhrajj to dump it.
2-sg , kataeb, etc.. have been marginalized in the upcoming election, all together will not get up to 10 seats..
as for the rest of the christians under the 14 feb umbrella, many have just faded.
3-sa3doun is busy fighthing a rear guard action to protect his sunni leadership, his challengers are many and from in house.
time has come to pay the debt he owes them ( mikati, safadi, jama3a, etc...)
4-usa, uk, europe are busy discussing with iran/syria.
5-the moderates arab countries are more irelevant than ever.

yet many are still clinging to a by gone era.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THEM?????.

what are they betting on?
what are they hoping for?

yes hanna, 14 shbatt base generally follows the FTV news, reads La Moustaqbal and Annahar, participates in various NF (net forums and neswen fourn) discussions and at spontaneous tarnib or football gatherings or in around the corner street jalset. So of course they are up to date..

But since time over many of those brothers and sisters has stalled at certain stops, you find that their "updates" are predigested frozen crumbs of twisted realities. These are served to them by brain launderers and right out liars, to keep them tightly glued to one another by something they all understand very well and also fear even more.

As you know, for most of them there's a date Before Aoun's Return and After Aoun's Return, Before the MoU and After the Mou, Before Hariri's Death & Exposure and After, Before 7'th of May and After etc..

I don't want to sound like someone who is dismissing those people's concerns when it comes to certain - understandable- worries, like Hizbullah's arms and the re-rise of a strong Marouniya Siyasiyya that for them Aoun represents. It is also relatively "normal" to have folks among this earth's nations, who get bullied with and abused so much and for so many years by a certain set of people. What i find most mind blowing however is to see those people still want to vote forward those same people to the same positions they use to practically abuse and bully them through.. but i'm still working on that tough nut.
