FPM is not covering HA's arms? I've had a discussion on the arms with you before, and you yourself was justifying the current status of the weapons. You are covering them as much as FPM is doing right now. In 2005, the weapons were a liability that needed urgen treatment and discussion and were a threat to the Taef and the authority of the government. Today, the weapons are our only source of strength and our defense against naturalization w ma ba3rif shou. If that is not a 180 degree flip I don't know what is. FPM has flip-flopped on the most important issue that faces the country, for obvious political gains.
ba3den, fala2touna with your inexistent solution. FPM has as much vision on the status of the weapons as any other party in Lebanon, if not less. The only vision you propose is "dialogue" and "defense strategy" as if those two mean anything concrete. Most members here have proven to be incapable of defining what exactly is that defense strategy that they are preaching. If Frangiyeh's words are to go by, then it probably means complete separation between the state and the "resistance."

So why Aoun didn't realize that in 2005 the Christians were "mouhammashin", lost and persecuted? He was refusing to call himself a Christian leader back then. All of a sudden, all of that vision of how the state should function changed. I've beaten this topic to death, but in 2005 he was willing to be a rebel against the system. Clearly, there is no vision. Just political maneuvering in a fight for power.
