Default 14 Febs announce the war against GMA: Get Ready FPMers for the biggest Battle - 3rd August 2008

FPMers, 2009 elections will be the biggest battle, the destiny of lebanon will be determined according to the election. This is a known fact for us and for the 14 thugs.
There won't be a serious battle in the areas were HA and AMAL are dominating. and there might not be a tough in the sunni areas.
But ! the strongest battle will be in the christian areas, and it seems that the thugs will put their whole weight there.
Yesterday was talking about how they will vanish the 70%, marwan hmadeh is saying the same today.
Few days ago, Walid joumblat announced that he can't have a political understanding with GMA, but he's trying to get close to HA.
The 14 thugs know approximately how much MPs can HA and AMAL get in 2009, and they cannot change that. They want to keep the majority in their hand, and obviously this can be done only by getting the Christian MPs on their side.
What Geagea & hmadeh said is not a joke, it's their intention.
So it's the right time to stop wasting our efforts on useless issues, and pointless arguments with LF or any other party.
we have to start working hard to win the biggest number of MPs .I see that many of us are careless, or not feeling the warm yet. and i see that others are opening their ears to the rumors and believe them.
All what we see from different kind of defamation and media attack against us is still in its beginning. expect much more from them. they want to finish FPM and GMA. They Can do a big harm to us if we allow them to,unless if we start getting ready from this moment.
FPM political education committee should be active again, and our media have to reconsider its weak behavior . and me, you and all the activists are asked to do what we used to do in the past, getting back the struggle's soul.

What is FPM promising in the next elections? Under which titles, and for what principles is it willing to gain votes in 2009?

In 2005 it promised change and reform (among other things in a program that later ended up being a charade), yet, it delivered nothing, but actually went the totally opposite direction.
Where would the focus be in the next elections, putting aside the irrelevant booklets:
- Fighting naturalization?
- Digging up the civil war events?
- Getting back christian rights?
....

That is a rather melodramatic statement.

Are you still in any doubt about what Lebanon's destiny is. The next election and the subsequent 30 will hardly matter.
Lebanon's destiny dude is to be the killing field for political idologies far beyond the control of the political puppets who will run in the next election and the thirty which will follow it.
From the FPM point of view however, it will most likely be the last election it particiaptes in as a party before it splinters into little FPMerinos.

Are you expecting something special 120 years from now?

Why would voters be concerned about the party's political survival?

Go back 120 years and relive them all over. It may not be so specila but one can always find comfort in familiarity (and contempt at times).

I interpreted your question as meaning where the party's focus will be. As for voters they dance to whatever beat the orchestra plays for them. In my calculation I never take them in consideration. They are too fickle for my taste but always true to form.( And that is only a paradox on the surface.)

When FPM is in power they can implement their program.

3 years so far of fighting and trying to islolate FPM and we engaged in this battle and won it by getting a fair electoral law, fair participation in the government and a bayan weezareh that reflects the MoU.

Why don't u question FM,PSP,LF....about their achievements when they were in power.

Not true, once they become a political party, they can start implementing their program.

So the slogans will be:
- Participating in getting to a "fair" electoral law?
- Fair participation? (implying a participation of "Christians")
- A government statement that reflects the MoU (in the sense of giving legitimacy to Hezbollah)?

That's for the part concerning the "past", what will you promise achieving in the future?
