on a serious note, when their electoral platform has so many holes in it, i am really worried what would happen if they win...

they are blatantly lying to the people... they are relying on the people's innocence and ignorance to reach the parliament....

The coolest thing about the Feb14 "Christians" is that they are almost equal to their supporting base. Basically, every time two of them meet, they agree to have one of them as a leader.

Dear members,

The starter of this thread (i.e Dark Angel) went into the trouble of posting the electoral platform of the 14 febs.....which means that this thread is intended to discuss their platform in a general way, section by section, or headline by headline....

unfortunately, after some time the thread became a place for meaningless comments, off-topic comments or "Maskhara" comments......

We would like you to try to read the platform, and criticize the platform itself or defend it depending on your political affiliation, i assure you there are plenty of things to discuss if you are interested and if you put enough effort into it.
On the other hand if you are not interested, plz refrain from posting useless/pointless and off-topic comments that would degrade the level of this thread.....

My request from you is that you try to make this discussion as constructive and useful as possible, this is the political forum not the lounge.....

I don’t mind all the folklore and the show. But what I am really curious about is the level of disrespect these people have for their voters. And I will elaborate on that a little bit. They have been a majority in the government and parliament for four long years, ok it is granted that these were not normal times, but during all this period, they did not have a single concrete achievement as a single group or as individuals. Their government did not even bother to carry out its mission statement, and to top it all they have actually taken concrete steps against many of the points they have just included in the program, out of which I will name disarming the Palestinian groups outside the camps, the decision for which was taken and backed by all major parties present at the first dialogue initiative few years ago. That effort however was aborted by the loyalists themselves after HA arranged meeting between Hariri and several of the Palestinian fractions to work out the disarmament details.

both in terms of govenrment or parliamentary performance, FPM (though part of the opposition) performed much better, indicating that where there is a will there is a way; and that the loyalists have no concrete excuse for their disastrous performance; so in reality, they seem to simply be seat warmers.

In short, they must be under the impression that the voters are utter idiots to believe this load of cr-ap; I personally think that this very specific issue will be their downfall, maybe even in regions they believe to be in their pocket, figuratively speaking. Even Murr during his TV interview, was talking about the Metniot voters as if they were vegetables boxes and tradable goods; not to mention that he was trying to openly con them in several obvious ways that will not enumerate.

The perceiving portion of the voters should feel very offended. The valentinos are attempting to play them in the open, and I believe they will be made to pay the price in the electoral ballots.

I'm confused, didn't you guys bombed the Lebanese army WITH THE SYRIANS on October 13th 1990? Didn't you guys open bottles of champagne when the Syrians invaded Ba3bda and Yarze? Didn't you guys ally with HA and Amal in the 2005 election? Didn't your master go to Syria in 1992, while it was occupying Lebanon, to pay his respect and show his allegiance to Hafez el Assad?

Now go back to the program and let's pick, for instance, the Mouhajjarin... Why would WJ do anything different now than what he's been doing since 1990? Do you want the Mouhajjarin file to be treated differently than it has been treated for the past 19 years (this should concern you since it was Gea3gea3 and Gemayel and WJ that caused all the mess in the mountains in 1993)...
