Elie | It shows that it is only artificial, right from the start. As if all the Lebanese issues,"conveniently" can only be summarized in 14 points!
The content on the other hand, is pathetic.Void and meaningless,at times, and empty slogans at other times.
Finally...I will ask these question for the nth time, maybe you'll have some answers:
1-What did the Febs achieve during 4 years in power that makes them credible or at least worthy of any trust?
2-Is Lebanon today in a better situation than it was 4 years ago, or in a worse situation?
3-Who in his right mind would want to live the next 4 years, the way he lived the 4 years of Febs in power,if not worse? | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

No matter what you say and how patriotic you want to be.....it's enough for FPMers to run on Syrian Oriented Lists!! nothing else matter!! 20 years from now, a dark chapter in our history book will detail how a once proud, educated movement, went down the drain with the Baathists, SSNPers, and HAers... i.e., and please do not reply with the usual Geagea, Hahabbis, etc....it doesn't make sense, andif it doesn't make sense, it's a Lie!!
Elie
| What Syrian Oriented Lists? To the best of our knowledge, it was your LF candidate in 2005 who at Ein el Rimmeneh was photographed dancing with the moukawama Kalashnikov in one hand, carrying that list inside his skirt pocket, tightly near his heart. | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

i would like to thank Elie Cedar for proving that what Hariri claims to achieve is that the social, financial, religious and perhaps military destruction of the country...
since i have proven that all points of the so-called platform of Hariri are nothing but lies, then i would be surprised if anyone who would vote Hariri would consider himself more intelligent than a dead tree log...
anyway, back to Elie Cedar claims....
FPM is not allying with Syria.. GMA went to Syria with his head raised and he was praised as an honest enemy and opponent...
i don't want to go out of topic but allow me to ask you a quick question, at least not to let your allegations go unanswered:
-what do u want in order to have good and normal relations with syria?
i have asked u the same question in a different thread...

Elie,
You have some nerve claiming an alliance between Syria and FPM while your electoral money, that whole shitload of $$$ flooding your electoral machines, is coming from KSA.
Este7eh... You really look like a prostitute preaching virginity... At least let your leaders embarass themselves and preserve some dignity.

The one expression that interests me in these elections manifestos that various parties in lebanon come up with to project a semblance of interest in their useless dissertations is العيش المشترك. The sad thing is they believe their own pretensions. For some reason whenever i read it, it has the opposite effect on me and I immediately think of a nation made up of savages ever ready to pounce on each other at the slightest chance. Their leaders need to affirm constantly their belief in something none of them hesitates for a moment when it suits him ( and always him) to undermine it.
Needless to say that all the other clauses in those electoral program reek of absolute banality and rancid repetitivness. I am sure the inanity is not confined to one side of politics and that they all believe in our naivety so much so to keep repeating the same worn out ideas decade after decade, generation after generation with very little hope indeed of ever accomplishing any of it.
Yet in our gullibility we all believe in this Cr*p, those lofty ideals, empty slogans because what is the alternative? Facing the hard turth that the country is not a workable entity and it's made up of people who by a mere historic accident ended up sharing the land that made up what became one country. Therefore the deception goes on and as long as there is someone out there to believe it, a lie will always be a lie regardless of how blindly one tries to convince oneself of its veracity.
The question that begs to be asked: Considering that both sides of the political aisle have in REALITY opposing goals for the country, how does one party really hope to implement its program while the country could only be governed at the lowest common denominator that could humanly be possible.
Ex: Feb 14 believes in the two state solution (had they any common sense they should propose that for Lebanon and not Israel/ Palestine) And their opponents want to wipe Israel off the map. How will any of them ever achieve their goal knowing that no one side will be allowed to govern on its own? Only God knows.
As usual the lying and the deception go on, the sheep follow the shepherd as they always do, the parrots mimic all the nonsense their fearless leaders enrich our lives with, and the ostriches bury their heads in the sand and go on pretending until hopefully some western country gives them a visa and free them form this oppressive fate.
A country it never was and never will be. | | | | | Registered Member

aaaahh, and by the way Elie or joseph lubnan, please, for god's sake tell me who was the clown-woman who spoke just before Souaid? from her accent i can clearly tell she's Keserwani, and probably an "ex-FPMer" too. i just turned on the TV and there she was yelling, shouting, jumping from excitement just like hitler used to do, and suddenly oops, she mentionned Martyr Francois Hajj...mmmm...it made me stop and think...
you guys ridiculized yourselves in that festival carnival mass you made, even my kataebi friend was laughing at the whole "14 show".
a true advice, from a fellow lebanese, next time try to adress reason and mind, and save us your usual rethoric and poetry...but i think its too hard for you valentinos to do that...your name says it all.
