Dont get 8gb of ram unless your planning to work on a 64bit os.

sou2al : why asus mobo ??? (they are expensive and i don't see thei benefits against intels)
why radeon ????
geforce is cheaper and in the same time more powerful according to every single tech site in the world :P
of course right now , radeon is starting to dominate laptops cards but for desktops they are still the best as far as i know

hehe, i'd hate to see ur dream geforce pc based on a vanilla intel mobo trying to beat his beast ;)

the fastest gpu rig right now is quad cross fire 4870x2, followed by a tri gf 280 sli. also an ati 4850 is on the same price range as a gf9800 but way faster.

and intel vanilla mobos are not for performance freaks, those mobo just dont have tweaks nor all the extra functionality required. yes asus is more expensive but worth it.

u'd have to pray to jesus mohamad and budah b4 u can overclock ur cpu on a standard intel mobo or do any useful tweaks.

well actually the GeForce GTX 295 Graphics card is the fastest.... and it is proven(by several benchmarks) that it beats the 4870X2 on almost all games

Just to mention that Ive been having lot of bad experiences with Intel Motherboards, Asus is expensive but the main reason is that it allows you to overclock the 940 to 3.6GHZ
