Regarding the different results you are getting, that applies to me as well. I have tried different providers and all are the same. For me, UK gives me the lowest ping. If I traceroute, I can see that the first hope after the private network is London Level3 link which implies getting low pings in Europe.

Some ISPs route their traffic to USA ( BTNA) which allows you to get better pings in USA but not in Europe.

Why not ? Is terranet this really bad ? Really what do u give me as advice ? Switching to Ogero 512 kpbs or 1mbps ? (note that no unlimited traffic at night). I live in Jal eddib in Matn.

Ur opinion will be much appreciated! I have to act today, Addem talab in ogero antelias if this is the best choice.

Well it depends dude, If you want to spend your time on online games, then Ogero is the way to go, it has the lowest latency.

If you need unlimited downloads then all ISPs are somehow the same because they all are a pain in the ***. I believe you already know that Fair Usage Policy is not really clear and sometimes you end up by limiting your account to 128kbpsor even 64kbps instead of 512kbps.. It is for the ISP to completely decide and manage your account. With Ogero, you have a good QoS but once your exceed the quota, you have to pay $$.. now its up to you. cheers.

Default NAT type on all the Lebanese ISPs...... - 2 Weeks Ago

Hey guys............

I just wanted to know what are the NAT types you've been getting on your PS3 and XBox 360 with your ISP. I want to know if any provides NAT type 1 or 2 connections.

So, please list your ISP and the NAT type you've been getting.

For those who don't know how to check for NAT type:

On the PS3: go to network settings and select Internet Connection test. At the bottom you should be able to see what NAT type you have.

On the Xbox 360: you need to test your Xbox Live connection and see whether it gives open, moderate or strict.

I'll start with mine:
IDM 512 kbps DSL: Nat Type 3
IDM Pesco 512 kbps wireless connection: Nat Type 2

Thanks

You better go for Ogero if you're planing to game online. I have a 256kb connection from Ogero and i rarely lag in any game.
