Steps is easy - restoring missing capacity. It needs equipment and time to establish links. i think at Tuesday we will restore almost 60% of missing capacity and during 1-3 days more up to 80%. Now what stopped us - holidays in Europe and we cannot even buy required equipment. So now doing rest of things.
And all infrastructure is have to be rebuilt (mostly network configuration and QoS), because network structure changed now.

IA64 - we are doing our best. We already paid for connection and capacity. But as i told they are delaying... we are doing our best efforts now to find out WHO delaying and he be punished for that all legal ways.
Additionally we will not rely anymore on single company. But all that will lead to more expensive connection or we will have to shutdown "charity" projects, like was doing free dialup, free hotspots, free connection for some non-commercial organisations that cannot affort it and etc. Management is thinking what to do next.

what a sad news. If VISP is going to pass through Ogero links, then I can affirm that Ogero will stick at the top of the list of ISP providers. We are never gonna get back the same experience with VISP. IMO, All what the company is going now is trying to survive.

IF we can pass over Ogero, with OFFICIAL WAY, and LEGAL OFFICIAL prices, we can lower down prices 2 times maybe or increase speed 2 times.
Everybody think that VISP just reselling same bandwidth, just taking % in pocket. Thats NOT right. We have pack of technologies than can let us help more "economy". Before was paying double, and maybe even triple price than other ISP's, and we was able to make unlimited. Why? Because other ISP's only know "buy Cisco, install by manual shipped in box, use it as written on website". All that technologies is obsolete, and it is "leftovers from a lordly table". ISP who want to be first should develop his own technologies, and we are doing that. We are developing together with opensource community many projects, some sponsoring, in some collaborating and adding code and patches. At the end it goes for benefit of lebanese users. When you have in your hands innovative technology you can make miracles.

For example my own invention, software, Globax, that can compress and optimize traffic. It is already used at multiple satellite ISP's (officially: Spacegate, InSat, over reseller PlanetSky, Raduga, Satgate and many others) and i'm selling it for many russian ISP's. I have special edition for VISP also.

And thats not only one... i cannot tell all technologies and details here, because competitors watching my talks. And recent events show that they like to use dirty methods of competition.

Why u think ONLY sodetel? Because it can be shown in traceroute? Just some packets going there, including traceroute.

Well i can show in traceroute FBI — Federal Bureau of Investigation Homepage if u want.

As you understand well, after recent events we are not disclosing any sensitive (means full) information about our links.
There is many ways to hurt us, if someone will know when, where , how much and how link is established with other ISP's. Sodetel link is oldest link we have, and Sodetel is only company that cannot be turned suddenly "illegal". So we can disclose it in talks and in traceroute.
