As foreigner living in lebanon, i notice that many people doesn't know how to choose right thing when they buy something. And they listen to seller, who usually don't know well what he is selling. Just as example, most of the AC installed in lebanon - obsolete technology, who have mode freeze/just fan. There is units with inverter, who can make compressor working at variable speed, and provide stream of air with required temperature. It is much better for health (u dont get sick) and it is around 30% better for electricity consumption. Another example - LCD TV, not many people know difference between HDReady and FullHD. One more example - "chinese" USB flash, how to recognize flash with short lifetime, and how to find original flash, cause for example there is a lot of fake "Sony","Transcend" and etc.
Do you think such website required for lebanese people? I am planning to make it as wiki, so community can submit their proposals, places where to buy good things, feedback about places who sell ****, discuss shops and goods and etc. |
