I haven't tested lots of routers, but i have a Linksys WRT150N w ra7 ya3melle jalta!! maybe I got a faulty piece because of the bad luck, i don't know. Usually such routers has different settings to cope with different type of connections, for example my connection requires a PPPoE authentication and my router supports that, I assume DSL has something similar to PPPTP or whatever. I suggest using DLink company, I never had problems with its others equipments, I am kinda anti-linksys now

Depending on the range you need and the size of your house, make your choice. You don't need to pay a lot more than you need so your neighbors can use your connection too... Check Dlink DIR 615 if it suits you, and it is cheap.

ok thx guys
Dlink DIR-615 Wireless-N 300MB/s Router,4 Port Switch -Link $55.00

and according to this page it will work with dsl

ba3ed fi shaghli zghireh basss
if u check the page of specifications it work with vista and xp sp2 while i have xp sp3 , it should work since sp3 is just an upgrade of sp2 sa7 ?

w ba3ed sou2al , i read this
Recommended System Requirements
• For Optimal Wireless Performance:
Use with Wireless N Adapter (DWA-130)

so i will have to buy an adapter with the router too ????

Dlink DWA-140 USB Wireless N Lan Adapter 300MB/s $44.00

dwa-130 doesn't exist in pcandparts list anyway.....but with a dwa wireless N adapter , that's an extra 50$
ye3neh back to the 100$

If i understood, you just want a router that allow you to connect your laptop using Wifi.

So you can have any router that has :
- a LAN port (to connect your PC with a cable if needed)
- Wan Port (to connect the DSL router)
- Wifi
- HTML interface for administration

D-link Di 524.. DSL works on it plus password protection but the thing is when the electricity goes you will have to play around with the DSL and router to get it working again

When you have your DSL connection, you ISP will install a DSL router (isn't working that way in leb ?)
that you will connect to you Wifi router
DSL router or DSL modem is a router with a port to connect your phone line (DSL line).
