To my knowledge, there are no mandatory installs on the X360 so you're fine with playing all the games.
You may consider modding your X360 so you can play all the cheap pirated games; however, you won't be able to play online with these games.
Good luck with your gaming.... | | | | | Registered Member

Good luck with your gaming.... | As for the recommendation, I have a PS3 so my opinion would be biased.
However, the X360 has some great games (Gears of War, Halo, Left 4 Dead) including all the multi-platform titles.
I do recommend against playing with pirated games, as the original games would provide the great option of playing online and allowing the download of game patches, extra levels, missions and story modes. X360 has a great online community and I would recommend not missing that.
As for the arcade, pro or elite options, I'd definitely go with the Elite version. Its true that its more expensive than the rest but you would get a 120 GB hard disk and a more reliable machine. Also, with the Elite version, your risk of getting the dreaded Red Ring of Death would be pretty much slim. | | | | | Registered Member

Regular laptop hard disks will not work. These hard drives, however, will work on the PS3.
So, you need to find hard disks specially made for the X360. | | | | | Registered Member

here is the deal :
bro bought a new laptop.
connected it to the router , everything works great.
suddenly the new laptop works fast on the router and mine is really slow.
i tried my laptop on other routers of the same kind and same speed he responded really faster than at home.
it seems like the router has some kind of preference on the new laptop. how to fix this ?? any ideas?
( both laptops are HPs. one running on xp/ubuntu and the second on vista). | | | | | Registered Member
