u subscribed to a 256kbps kilobits per second, you get a download speed of 256/8=32kb/s or kilobytes per second. You are losing 6kb/s because of many factors, including the distance between your house and the central office.

256kbps is 256 KiloBit per second

Download of 32KBps is 32 KiloByte per second.

1 Byte = 8 bits..

On DSL you get 90% of the bandwidth you've subscribed for ( copper loss, noise etc..)

So your 256kbps connection will be something near 225kbps that is 28KB/s

3- Why u said that it is good enough to small companies with max 15-20 users ??? ... i already read that it can hold 75 users
Sorry for the delay in replying:

1. Of course, what else?

2. Yes you can have SQL running, but I doubt it'll be performant with as much databases (especially if the email is Exchange 2007).

3. Theoretically yes 75, but I've seen it crash on 50 with standard services running.

If you have this much things to run on it, the most cost-efficient solution would be to buy a super computer with vmware, implement virtualization for all those; you won't have any problems.

so I am encountering a really weird problem. copy/cut/paste are not working on my PC (Windowns XP Professional x64 edition). it's not just CTRL+C, also right-click-> copy and edit/copy.

I tried many many solutions but still the problem persists. Please Help!

but take your time, it's the PC I use at work and I am dealing with tons of numbers and it's a pretty tedious job already. no rush .

Do you enough space on your hard disk ?
Maybe you are out of memory !

This happened with me once and it turned out that i did not have enough space on my computer, so windows could not allocated the needed space to copy !

You can try cmd -> sfc /scannow , I remember something similar that happened to me once.

Probably svchost hanging somewhere. A safe way to make sure is to create a txt file and paste the code below and rename it to fix-svchost.bat

Another thing came up to my mind, make sure that the clipboard is not corrupted.

Try the following:

restart the following services :

1.Network DDE DSDM.
2. Network DDE.
3.Clipbook.

just my 2 cents.

I already tried this and the clipboard was fine. Thanks for the instructions, but, luckily, I didn't need them. 3azzebak mish 3al fadeh as I am pretty sure others would run into this problem. What I did is I ran a full system scan and there were a couple of adawares and 13 application errors () in the google chrome folder. After the anti-virus did its job by cleaning the folder, I, simply, restarted and BINGO! I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. I can copy/paste again. Thanks IA64.
