mmmm it depends man virgin is selling it for 600 $ which is too high

i got mine from the duty free @ 430$ if u can get one from there it would be good.

just get the 40gb one and change its hard disk.
the price is 535$ and u want an Hdmi cable with it around 40$ a good one so ull pay around 575$

and about games some are at 70$ some are at 90$ , i payed for gta 90$ :x

they told me Nino got the MGs 4 at 85$ , i got it from the Uk at 80$ , i think Nino is the best one here to sell games specially that he gets them fast and there price are just like Europe.

although MGS 4 is now at 60$ in the UK -_-

Theres a place I know of where 40 GB can go for around 500 $ or for 600 $ with 2 games of your choice.

Questions from an ignorant in video games who will buy either Xbox 360 or PS3 for his son
1- If I buy any of these two from the US where they are cheaper, are the games in any different system than the European ones or the ones sold in Lebanon? Will I be able to use copy games on Xbox after t3adil?
2- My son tells me that Xbox Elite is better than original Xbox for the cheap copy games. Is this right?
3-I hear that copy PS3 games will be available at the end of the year in Lebanon. Any truth to it?

For info, I saw on a website that the price of Xbox elite will decrease by 50$ in the US on September 7.

if u gonna get xbox 360 from the USA , 360 games are DVD , in USA 360 is NTSC while here and europe is PAL , so ur not gonna be able to play games from lebanon because they are PAL not NTSC, but if ur gonna mod the 360 i think copies will work not 100% but originals wont work and ull have to get ur games in NTSC from USA.


about PS3 also from usa it is NTSC , theres no copy games for PS3 so ull have to buy original ones.
Ps3 has a blu ray disc, Games that u buy for ps3 are all blu ray.

so if u gonna buy w Ps3 from USA , u can also play games in Lebanon too .
because Ps3 games that are in USA or in europe or in Lebanon are one region. so if u geta ps3 from USA ull be able to play games in Lebanon.

BUT

Ps3 also plays Blu ray movies, which are different than games, because movies that work in USA wont work in Lebanon , so u have to get movies from USA to play them.










2- Xbox elite differs from the Xbox by having an HDMI , plus a larger hard disk, and i think the probabilty on the elite to get a RROD is less than on the original XBOX.



3- Till now there is no te3dile for ps3.




but if u dont care about the price of games.

i recommend the PS3 , u can play games and watch HD movies.

plus the 360 got a problem which is the RROD (bte7ma 3awad bel saleme el makana ) if it happens then ur 360 goes 3al zbele.

I had an Xbox than got the ROD. I just bought a 40 GB PS3 from duty free Lebanon.

The differences ive noticed so far btw both consoles:

1- I prefer the 360 controller.
2- A 360 copied game used to cost me 5 bucks now a game costs me minimum 70 bucks.
3- But my 360 got banned from online play before getting ROD which will never happen with the PS3/
4- PS3 has free online play.
5- Watched 2 blueray movies on the PS3 which were awesome.
6- The battery of the PS3's controller is rechargeable through usb connectivity unlike the Xbox's cont. that requires u to keep replacing its batteries.
7- Graphics wise I think the graphics of the 360 are slightly better. I am not sure though and it depends on the game.

Still cnt judge which console is better.

But to be on the safe side, definitely go for the PS3. At least you have my guarantee that it will survive much longer than a 360.
