First of all it's a very good Blue Ray Disc Player.

Secondly the astonishing graphical capabilities of PS3:Metal Gear Solid 4 (just amazing!!!), Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet... all the tons of games that are prepared for the fall 2008.

During the US E3 event (which is the biggest gathering of Gamers in the world), PS3 brought tons of games innovation etc.. while all what Microsoft had to say: we succeeded in adapting to XBOX360 half of the PS Franchises.

Thirdly, the PS3 is here to last at least 4 years from now, which I doubt to see Microsoft Xbox360 still on the shelf in 2010. Sony's director said a couple of days ago that he set a target of 150millions PS3 sold by 2013 (compared to the 100M of PS, and 140M of PS2 sold by Sony)

Finally the community system that Sony is preparing: Home that is currently under beta testing is virtual world for PS3 palyers.

here its around 80$ to 100$ (metal gear solid 4 pack is 100$ )

but i know people shipping the PAL games from japan directly for like 50 $or 55 $ they even got the new dualshock 3 joystick for 59$ and here in leb its around 120$ ...

he imports ps3 games from japan and sells them for 70 $ and he has used ps3 games for 50 $ anyone knows him or the place?

Nino is located in Karakol El Druz, opposite of Paind'Or.

btw, do you know any places in Lebanon that sell the MGS4 bundled ps3? or at least, a decent-priced 80 GB PS3?

no man i checked everywhere i couldnt find a mgs4 pack ps3 and the 80 gb ps3 are gone on the market you can find 60 gb @ virgin and 40 gb in all the other places. i even tried to check duty free .

well that sucks then. Do you have any idea how long it would take for the new 80 GB PS3 (out in September in the US) to make it to the retailers in Lebanon?

why do u want the 80 gb ?
get the normal 40 gb its the best version till now
and if u want w bigger hard disk just change the Hard disk u can get much bigger hard disk than 80 gb in a price much less than the one ur gona pay to get the exclusive in console 80 gb.

i have 40 gb and i connect my Western digital 500 gb to the ps3 it works like a charm and its gr8
