Not correct, problem still actual, even rate of failures is less.

Wait and see what will happen when Microsoft release Windows 7, when the 360 will communicate and eventually integrate with the PC. Can you imagine the possibilities? Can you imagine what will happen when there will be cross-platform multiplayer capability between 360 and PC?

If Gamemakers want multiplayer capability - they can make it even between PS3/Xbox/Xbox 360/PC owners. No need for Windows 7. It is more political matter than technical.
PS3 integrates themself with PC flawlessly, i can play videos over wireless from PC to PS3 without uploading file to PS3. PS3 also have amazing features to integrate with PSP (i have both). And very important - Xbox missing integrated wireless controller. I hate wires laying on the ground.

Sony's 1 billion dollar loss this year did not come as a chance. PS3 doesn't sell well because its games variety is limited, and it takes forever for a developer to make a game on it. 360 games are programmed on PC's, which is why it has so many more games and ones that use its capacity properly.

Regarding 1 billion loss: "In January 2009 Sony announced that their gaming division was profitable in Q3 2008." The main reason that PS3 HAD loss - unit is good quality and powerful hardware. Not garbage collected to one box, and sold for less money than competitors, but overpriced, thats what is usually Microsoft does.
Look the facts:
Xbox 360
GPU 240 GFLOPS (10 FLOPS x 48 shader pipelines x 500 MHz)[4]
CPU "Limited" version of Cell Processor (no SPU, but one more PPU)
HDMI 1.2 (not at all editions)
-No bluetooth
-100Mbit/s ethernet
-Wifi as Addon
-DVD
+Infrared link (LOL!)
PS3
GPU: ~200 GFLOPs (Some operations 1.8 TFLOPs)
CPU: Cell processor
HDMI 1.3a
+Bluetooth 2.0
+gigabit Ethernet
+Embedded Wifi
+Blue-Ray drive
And most important, Xbox 360 is cheap look piece of plastic. Looking more like a baby toy.
Btw - can Xbox play DivX? I guess not. And i guess everybody know answer to same question regarding PS3. :-)
