Languages learned : C/C++, Java, pascal, matlab, pspice, ...

On my own : php, VHDL, asp, assembly (x86)

using in work : C++, matlab/simulink, VHDL

I think that currently the most used are C++ and Java for realtime prototypes and applications, matlab/simuling for modeling.

i learned at uni C++, Java and SQL for databases.

on my own: PHP, ASP, VB and i hate them all :D love PHP only.

At Work: if your gonna be working in lebanon, its a database market, you gotta go for Microsoft SQL Server. at work i studied SQL Server and some oracle skills.

my personal advice, make up your mind first, you wanna go open source or not ! then you wanna web programming, application programming or database programming.
as for me i hated programming men assesso lol. Network Administration rules

I have learned in university C/C++ and currently learning LISP (famous in AI researches) and microcontrollers assembly programming(Microchip PIC processors) and i have a small knowledge in Visual Basic (for interfaces between PICs and computers) and MIPS assembly... My favourite was microcontrollers assembly, applicable on real life applications...
