I will give u a hint.. keep the real player on,, on mute if don't want to hear the music.

hehe i wish it was that simple:)
my power settings are all set to on, and i have a pc not a laptop, and well the screen would turn off even when i'm using the pc..it doesn't have to be idle to do this, and this worries me:S

i don't know what should i do, i booted in safe mode and reinstalled the vga driver twice and still i'm getting vga failures, and the latter would stop working in the middle of every windows session at fluctuating intervals:S

come on, where r u computer experts?

I meant you should test it in safe mode.
ie.. Startup in safe mode (add networking if you still want to browse) and stay in safe mode to monitor if it happens there as well.

I formatted my PC last night, hoping that my problem will be solved...
but, i'm still suffering from the problem of the screen turning off

okay, i tried the following:

1- Installation of a new VGA Card
2- uninstalled drivers then installed again
3- computer formatting

it turned out not to be a virus, because i formatted the pc and scanned it for viruses with many virus scans programs..

i was thinking, can my problem possibly be related to the RAM?
i have a 512DDRAM Kingston and i just bought it a couple of months ago.

it has nothing to do with the monitor but with the signal that is emitted to the data cable of the monitor
