yea dude u can but its gona be a big hell of a mess.

the thing is amazon has restrictions regarding lebanon they only ship books and dvds.
ebay depends on the seller if he is willing to ship worldwide. come again if he does ship it it will cost aroune 85$ to 100$ (from the states) and at the end since u want a laptop it will cost u some taxes 3al mattar.

personally i think the best solution for the money thing is ship it to a relative/friend abroad w let him send it to u. (ya personaly esa jeye aw DHL esa ma bado yeje it will cost less i think)

PS: hek i did with my cousin i purchased a toshiba for her online and then i shipped it to her uncle b US w houwe cha7ano
dafa3et kil chi 700 $ w laptop 5off

Or you can check Aramex Shop and Ship.

Shop and ShipThe Aramex Shop&Ship mailbox service allows you to enjoy all the benefits of shopping online from US or UK websites as if you are actually living there. This service offers you a personal mailing address in the US and the UK where you can receive your correspondence as well as personal and business packages such as Internet orders, gifts, magazine subscriptions, bank statements and more. Aramex then forwards the mailbox contents to your doorstep back home at very competitive rates, saving you time, effort and money.

In other words, you will have a virtual address in the US and the UK, you will shop from, let's say, amazon and you will specify that US address (local shipping fees concerning amazon). Aramex will then ship your items from that US address to Lebanon.

thx for the replies,

Well doesn't look so good for me i guess, as for paypal.. no problem, i got a Card from Poland, but as for shipping, guess i'll have to pay $300 extra on a Laptop here then :/

for example, i want to buy a HP Pavilion DV5000-1070 laptop, which has the following specs:

Processor
Intel Core 2 Duo T9400

Clock speed
2.53 GHZ

Front Side Bus
800 MHz

2nd Level Cache
Level 2 / 6 MB Cache

Hard Disk
320 GB Hard disk

Memory
4 GB RAM

Screen
15.4 WXGA with infinity bright view resolution FLASH GLASS LCD

DVD
Blu-Ray ROM with super Multi DVD Writer Double Layer Support

Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M – 512 dedicated up to 1791 MB total memory

Price you ask:
US$ 85 x 24 months = US$ 2,040 (VAT included)
OR
US$ 155 x 12 months = US$ 1,860 (VAT included)

and that's from Bank Audi, well i can't find this type of Laptop in anystore here

now i bet if it was for CASH, it would be like $1,600 or something like that, now i got a friend in Norway, he got the same one like this but it has a 17Inch screen and 500GB HD, for $1,300

any idea if a HP Pavillion dv7-1095eo with 17Inch scren exists on any shop here?

Concerning PayPal, i am not getting this whole story abt it... i mean isint it weird that countries like Zambia or Lesotho have PayPal services but lebanon doesnt?
i heard it's due to a lack of credit-cards agreements between our banks and PayPal... it's confusing...

Try UCS, they open you a mailbox in the US for 20$ one-time fee; and you get to buy anything you want and pay shipping when it gets here.

Wrong; paypal doesn't approve of Lebanon and a few other countries due to their bad history with credit card thefts and such. It's absolutely not true that countries bad paypal, it's the opposite. UAE, Yemen, KSA, and others all have paypal access!
