A Perfect Strategy Game

I loved playing Rome a while back ( couple of months ago :p ) and even tho i missed the first sequel i think i'll definitly be buying this one.

the AI in the new Total War releases seems to be horrible despite improving graphics. after a while you will notice that strategy doesn't really matter anymore.

Rome Total War still is more succesfull game in terms of the AI qualities in battles, adapting to terrain, and reacting much smarter to the player's actions.

Yeah i agree, the ai in medieval 2 was quite horrid, but if you patched it up, they improved upon it massively.
But im hopeful this time, cause when developing rome they had allocated on guy to write the ai and only part time. This time around they allocated 3 coders full time on ai.

This game, along with Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 will be the reasons why I shall dish out thousands of hard earned dollars for an uber mega-mammoth ninja ******* PC. I plan to do so early next year. Alas, PC gaming is getting revived (at least for 2009).
