Alright, sorry for taking long but i have been very busy lately.

here's few that you could use...:

iFolder: File synchonization and sharing. The iFolder project is about helping you stay coordinated across computers and within your teams. Share and sync all your files safely and securily with iFolder. iFolder let's you access your files over the web anytime, anywhere.

PS: needs an ldap, does not have to be eDirectory or Active directory, you can use OpenLdap as a freebie.

You can have a look at Teaming and Conferencing on the same page (very useful stuff but i double someone will implement conferencing in leb due to latency and bandwidth issues)

Banshee: Play your music and videos. Stay entertained and up to date with podcasts and video podcasts. Discover new music with Last.fm radio. Sync your G1 phone, iPod, and other devices. We think you'll love the new Banshee!

GIMP: GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc. GIMP is expandable and extensible. It is designed to be augmented with plug-ins and extensions to do just about anything. The advanced scripting interface allows everything from the simplest task to the most complex image manipulation procedures to be easily scripted.

Evolution: Just like outlook, but does not crash as often lol

Ubuntu just "works" I recently converted the following to use Ubuntu with a customized desktop to easily migrate them away from windows:
  • Mom's Laptop
  • Sisters Computer
  • Brothers Computer
  • Uncles Computer
  • Mom's Friends Laptop
  • Cousins Computer

They all love it. It took exactly 9 minutes to install it from scratch (including formatting) and another 5 minutes to update drivers/application and another 10 minutes to customize it to look similar to windows and security.

They absolutely love it.

Go to the terminal, write: sudo apt-get update
And it will download all the updates required. If there are drivers missing, go to the ubuntu forum, its really really really good, you will find all the help you want there.

Dudes, whats the best virutalization software for Ubuntu 9.04? I plan to virtualize windows 7 so i can play games.

It was always opensource. Wine have commercial and free editions. Commercial is just "pre-built and tuned" for specific games.
