Icon5 Nintendo DS and Lebanon - 12th January 2009

Hi guys,

I wanted to send 2 Nintendo DS to my nephews from Canada to Lebanon. Now, I have some few questions :

Is there any PAL and NTSC systems as the regular consoles so games bought in Leb aren't compatible with the machines sold in Canada and vice versa ?

Also, in case there is the above problem, anything could be done in Leb about it ? I know in our dear country that anything illegit is strongly encouraged

Thank you.

Actually, just after I posted the thread, I discovered that the DS is region-free unlike the PSP.

the psp is region free also, in the sense that it is not region locked.

a japanese version or american version of any psp game can run on any psp.

i got the American-region God of War game disk running on my European region-psp machine by default. i was told it was region locked but that was not the case.

they never locked it.

the only execption is psp movie disks, they are region locked.

just for the record :)
