different versions (channels):
- STABLE: Receive updates every time its stable
- BETA: Receive updates every couple months or so.
- DEV: Receive updates every week or so.
I highly recommend the "dev" channel because you will experience new stuff in the web such as "HTML5", "O3D", "Gears", new browser improvements, new webkit stuff, etc.
Its a nice Open Source browser! If you guys/girls need anything regarding it, I could help, I am a developer in Google Chrome (Chromium Committer) and I urge all developers to help make that browser the best any user could ever have. I joined the project couple of months ago, and now I am part of it, if anyone is willing to help fix bugs or even give it a try, I can assist you in any way!
I usually finish my day job and during nights, I work on Chromium! A lot of exciting features coming soon :) You can reach me at mhm AT chromium DOT org
